Title: Music and Transition
Post by: ThePersona on July 02, 2014, 02:58:27 PM
A song I wrote, it's got that classic broadway feel to it. Sorry I can't write it on sheet music for you guys

Changing

Hi my names Mike, I am a lonely guy, never been all that popular, I woke up one day and said that I was unique, I knew from the start that I wasn't like them, and now I'm changing, my life is turning upside down, and if I could just say, my name is Mike no more, I am Christie, born into this world, looking into the mirror I would see myself, but it wasn't me, now I'm changing, my life is finally sorting itself out, and now I'm changing (oh yes I'm changing), and I can finally reach for the stars, I guess we all have something we wish to change about ourselves, oh if only it were easy, but life is never easy, no, if it were easy, it wouldn't be called the game of life, some succeed and some will fail, but it's because we're all changing, growing, adapting, and surviving, that is why we will succeed

It kind of sounds like any climax song sung by a female lead in Broadway

Except for Don't Cry For Me Argentina, not like that

Ok so I figured out it's to the tune of Two by Two from Book Of Mormon and A Whole New World from Aladdin
