So, idk that I want to be a crossdresser, but I want to try out crossdressing at least once. How do I figure out how to try for the first time when I have no way to dress without everyone knowing at home... I am also really nervous. I want to post a picture for suggestions but do not know how yet!
Finally got it lol!
So, how do I go about looking like a girl?

Hi,
How you will look in 'girl-mode' is really hard to tell. I once went to a CD place to get a full make over and I looked different than I imagined. A wig and full make up can change A LOT.
Doing a full make over is really nice, and also in a safe place with only people who are used to it. You can also start all by yourself. Getting foundation and some eyeshadow and eyeliner make you look more fem.
Thanks for the input! How do you find a CD place? I know nothing about make up and I feel I would make myself look like a clown hahaha.
Yeah I had the same. I knew little and also wanted to talk about it with people that understood. I just googled "male female makeover" and then area/country. Get enough info about it and then making the call. It wasn't really cheap though but absolutely worth it.
I observed women for quite awhile wishing I could be so pretty, then I began visiting various online makeup and clothing shops and found that they offered a lot of good tips and advise
Of coarse the adverts and such are geared for natal women and their main interest is to sell their products, but the tips and advise are still applicable
Also, most woman's shops at malls and such are happy to do a make over on anyone who would like one 8) I've been rather surprised at how ready and willing to help the gals have been
I had the advantage of having a female SO who was very helpful in all areas. There are so many resources online these days. There are even websites that let you take your pic and figure the best looking wig for you.
Take a lot of selfies after dressing and cosmetics. If it looks good to you, you've done good. If something seems off, it probably is. Work it until it seems right. ANd then take more selfies...smile..
The bottom line is - HAVE FUN.
Thanks for the help! My biggest issue is discretion right now, I am too nervous to let people know what I am doing and thus, how do I do this on my own when I can't get help, or have make-up and clothes in the house because they might be found.
GC, Be Patient! Think in terms of small steps. For instance, begin experimenting with makeup in private. There are lots of online tutorials to get you started. You, like all of us, will learn from your mistakes. Cheers, Katy.
What Katy said! In high school I had a precious few items I was able to stash away without fear of being found. I had the added benefit of having parents that didn't go through my stuff which was nice.
As for make up? I started with lipstick and a pencil to outline it. It was easy to remove AND easy to hide.
As for applying it - like others have said, there are a multitude of videos online to help out. But in the end - practice makes (near) perfect!
Good luck! And if you can, please post a pic of your efforts. I haven't been here long but I can tell already, I'm among friends. No judgements here.
