Title: Sugaring
Post by: Umiko on July 05, 2014, 11:44:53 PM
i've been looking online for ways to slow down facial hair growth and i found a method called sugaring. basically as it sounds, you take sugar, lemon juice and water. you boil it, than at room temperature, you apply it and snatch it off like waxing. anyone ever try this and does it work?

Well if its like waxing then hairs grow slower if you wax them rather than shave them so I guess it would I never heard of it but I have very sensitive skin so I wouldn't try

its not really waxing because your not using chemicals but yet you apply and remove like waxing. idk, imma try it tomorrow. i get like very very very little facial hair so i guess it would be safe. i just hope it does make soft skin go rough lol

I have done it before. it will take a coulple tries to get the recipeu down right. it is the same as waxing, just not useing wax. it is better because it souldnt stick to your skin at all. and just like with waxing the hair will thin and grow slower but never go compleatly away.  the reason i dont any more is i bought an epilator,   ;D. If you dont know what it is it is a machine about the size of an electric razor that plucks the hair out, 500+ tweezes a second. it takes me 30 min for about 3 weeks hair free legs.
