Title: Frustrated by dysphoria
Post by: awilliams1701 on July 08, 2014, 05:55:47 PM
When I first discovered who I really was, I didn't give much thought to things like peeing. However now that I'm embracing it, I have to pee sitting down because its just too gross the other way. However even this is causing dysphoria because I can feel where its coming from. I can feel it too far away from my body and the muscles involved. I've only managed to pee once and convince myself to feel it coming from the correct place. I'm also starting to feel more uncomfortable in the men's room at work. I don't belong in there. Today was the first time I felt like that. I'm also experiencing dysphoria from my facial hair. No matter how hard I try I can't get it to shave smooth enough. I seem to be waking up every day to an erection and getting dysphoria from that. I got lucky today though. My feminine urges took over and I managed to experience it as urges from my non existent vagina. Unfortunately I can't always pull this off. Its driving me crazy. Unfortunately because I've only known about a month and a half I'm not supposed to start transitioning yet. I only just started therapy last week and she said its too quick. Everyone here seemed to agree.

When I first realized I was transgender (6 months ago) I was glad that at least I didn't have any physical dysphoria.  However, like you, these things soon started to bother me.   I can stand to pee, but there were a few instances when it REALLY bothered me so I usually pee sitting as well.   And with the morning woody it can be bad even sitting.

I don't have any advice for you.  In my case I find that I can override the need to sit if I have a good reason to.  I just need to warn myself ahead of time. It sounds like that won't work for you though.

And yes, sometimes being in the men's room is a harrowing experience.  Usually retreating immediately to a stall helps, but not always.

Honestly the men's room (at least for now) is the mildest of the issues. Feeling where my pee comes from is much worse.

Just hold it down so it pees all over your inside thigh and you have to wipe.

Maybe that will help ease some of the dysphoria?

You got a good laugh out of me. That might actually help, but that will cause additional problems. I'm afraid the only option I get for the next few years or so is to just deal with it.

I was serious.

Anything you can do that can make anything as close as living as a female will help ease body dysphoria.

From cloths to just normal day little stuff that makes you feel female.

Problem is if it gets on my clothes, I'll be the "oh look he peed himself" guy for the rest of the day. I might consider trying it at home though.

Not if you sit.

We'll see. I tried, but in spite of the thought I needed too I couldn't go. I'll try again later.

I know the feeling, also I felt I was lucky to not have any real issues with dysphoria to start with, it was just the facial hair starting to darken that got to me. As times gone on I've been getting more frustrated with things like getting an erection, waking up with one just makes me feel so ashamed like I've crapped myself during the night, and the sound of my voice I can't stand and I've noticed I've started to have a slight stutter when I have to speak with anyone.

I've been able to try this 3 times now. The first time wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, but it still went all over the place. It basically covered my ass. This didn't feel like peeing as a girl. I tried again this morning and for part of it I got it to work just right and it felt right. This most recent time, it was a little messier again. Probably a hybrid of the 2 other attempts. I do like the feeling of it coming from my body rather than my penis and you can feel how warm it is, which is interesting. I've always known it was warm, but I've never felt it being warm. Anyway I plan to keep practicing this technique.

So now welcome to womanhood. Most of the time it ends up in all over places... So that is why i made the suggestion being you will have a better idea of whats to come.

From what I've seen, a real Women's stream might be random, but it doesn't go on her ass. Its somewhat randomly directed forward. When I say all over the place I mean all over the place.

Thanks for clearing that up for me.   ::)

Going to leave you to your vast knowledge.

What do I know about being a woman ???

Lots of luck.
