4th of July. I dealt with some bull->-bleeped-<- from the police earlier that day. I was already riled up. I went skating at the park by the Art Museum. It was fun. The parkway was shut down due to July 4th concerts. A bunch of people really wanted to see some band called Nicky Minaj. Carrying my board in one hand and a cooler in the other (with a broken wrist), I had to make a long, round-about way to the park.
I got there and skated. Fun! I'm totally passing as a girl more and more lately, but not all the time. Lots of skating and fun with friends. I got hit on by a straight guy. Always flattering.
The sun went down and I left. This time I had to take an even more round-about way back to my car. As I walked up 22nd Street, I passed some douchebag who shouted to me, "Hey bro!"
I turned around and yelled, "I'm not bro, ->-bleeped-<-!" His friends let out an, "Ooooooh!"
A few blocks up, I almost got run over by a bike cop. I hate cops. A few more blocks, and I somehow ran into the jerkoff again!
"Hey, ->-bleeped-<-," he says to me.
I turned around and looked at him, puzzled. I didn't understand. Then I remembered. I yelled at him. He was drunk and holding a beer. I don't remember exactly what I said, but he said back to me, "You're definitely a man."
Then I flat-out screamed in his face. I threw my cooler and my skateboard on the ground and just screamed and screamed at him. I remember yelling, "I've had enough of peoples' ->-bleeped-<- for one day!" I called the guy a drunk piece of ->-bleeped-<-. Can we cuss on here? I called him a bigot and a transphobe. I really belittled him. I had the fire.
The guy totally shrunk back and uttered a tiny, scared, "I'm sorry." I didn't care. I wasn't done with him. I told him to shut up. I made him feel two inches small. I don't remember exactly what I said, but it ended with, "Go back to the suburbs!"
I picked up my things and left. At that point, two black girls across the street took over for me and told him, "Yeah! Go back to the suburbs!"
When I get pushed to the edge, sometimes something inside of me takes over, and it's not a vibrator (har har). Something primal overcomes me, and I make things happen. I've done this throughout my life, with incredible results. I guess it's a gift.
*huggles* You're awesome, sis, always standing up to people. I'm sorry you had so many crappy incidents happen in one day, though. :(
Sorry to hear you had a bad day dealing with one idiot after another.
I'm glad to hear he backed down, bullies often do. When dealing with drunk people it's always good to keep in mind that something that would shut up a sober person could result in things getting nasty. I often stand up to people who are abusive but if they're drinking in a group then I tend to ignore them & walk on by.
I'm really glad you came out of it unscathed :)
Good for you standing up for yourself. You just need to run into the happy drunks. But unfortunately alcohol makes more confrontational buttholes out of people instead of "Let's just have a good time".
Instant ->-bleeped-<-,just add alcohol!

You had every right to go off on that jerk. I can always appreciate people that stand up for themselves. Bullies suck and deserve to be dissed, knocked out and more.

Hey! I resemble that remark, but I am just steady, alcohol or not. ;) But seriously I am one of the ones that drink and get happy. But I know some people that if you even put one drink in their had they go from Dr. Jeckyl to Mr. or Ms. Hyde in a heartbeat. I really can't stand being around them 'cause they really tend to screw up my good time.

Yeah, I know how that goes. I have a couple of family members that are like that. I won't put up with their crap when they are drunk and that really pisses them off since everyone else refuses to do that.

Me too and after a while it becomes just freakin' miserable. They honest to God can't seem to handle alcohol. If a person drinks and can't have a good time and always wants to start a confrontation, then reallly they shouldn't be drinking. I know someone if he hasn't died or somone killed him or ended up in jail that would drink and after three or four beers would want to fight. God I hated that guy and actually scared him so bad one night he pee'd in his pants and I turned out to be ther hero of the hour.

Well, the people that I know are basically stuck in their cycle of drinking and have no intention of stopping. I've already had one family member that died due to health issues that was caused by drinking, one friend that died the same way, and another family member that is headed towards the same fate. Yeah, it really sucks but you can't help them, they won't help themselves, so they are on the fast track towards an earlier death. If the aforementioned family member dies in the next decade, I won't be surprised since they keep drinking more and more. They also have COPD from smoking cigarettes and they won't stop that either. It's just a crappy situation all the way around.
I am sorry you have to deal with that crap. Although, from reading past posts you always end it well.

"There is no more Jekyll! Only Hyde!"- Jekyll & Hyde
"All that you are is a face in the mirror I close my eyes and you disappear! I'm what you face when you face in the mirror, long as you live I shall be right here! All that you are is the end of a nightmare, all that you are is a dying scream, after tonight I shall end this demon dream! This is not a dream my friend and it will never end, this one is the nightmare that goes on! Hyde is here to stay no matter what you may pretend, and I will be here, long after you're gone!"-The Confrontation; Jekyll & Hyde
I believe I have a J&H quote in my sig too.
Yes I can practically quote the entire musical, got a problem?
No but honestly, I am Jekyll & Hyde, like I seriously go from like this normal person to this demonic bitch if you say one wrong thing.
That ending, haha! I'm glad you were able to stand up to this idiot, it sucks how many of them there are out there. Good on you, girl! :)

Well to be completely honest I would rather deal with a normal person that can go to demonic bitch in 0 to 60 seconds than drunks that are complete buttholes. You can at least reason with demons. ;)

God Dad! Learn some respect
Huh... I could have sworn my ex was the devil. =P
The problem with alcohol is that it amplifies your subconscious emotional state not just your current mood, so if a person isn't in a good place in their head then they are always going to be an ass while drunk.
