Title: IPL/Laser/Electrolysis on the NHS just got easier :-)
Post by: kira21 ♡♡♡ on July 09, 2014, 12:11:20 PM
OK, so once you are an mtf on 'the pathway' you are entitled to hair treatment, and the process is now this...

You need to use an approved provider, or else they will approve your provider when they apply for your funding, but they must be a member of the British Institute & Association of Electrolysis for Electro, or the Care Quality Commission for laser.  If you are going the electro route then this link will help you as it lists the members close to you http://www.electrolysis.co.uk/?page_id=4 (http://www.electrolysis.co.uk/?page_id=4)

All you need to is give the provider of the service your hospital number and have them contact Tina Smith at the NHS (her email address is on the letter the GIC will give you) to arrange payment and you are good for 8 sessions.

Now that is a lot better than it was! :-)

Oh wow, that's awesome.

I wish it were like that here in the U.S.!
