Let me bring you up to speed. I lost my house in the springtime. I was homeless for a while before breaking my wrist, which landed me back at my parents' house. My stepdad's a transphobic ass. But I'm really close with my mom. Always have been.
She's been slow to adjust to me being a girl. Today she and I went to the grocery store. I was wearing a dress with matching makeup. I came downstairs, and my mom told me I looked pretty! Aaah! And then she pointed out how I lit up when she said that.
I love my mom. :)
So happy for you :D
My parents are fundamentalist christian ex-missionaries, I am not expecting a lot of acceptance, so it is nice to see someone getting some.
Awwww~ Thanks for sharing that. :)
This made me smile so big :). So happy she saw how much it meant to you. Hopefully seeing you so happy will speed up the rest of her acceptance! How could it not?
That is so sweet! I'm so happy for you! o///o My mom accepts me and loves me, but doesn't even try to refer to me as a guy ;.;
Thumbs up! :D
Congrats! I'm glad your mom is supportive.
The definition of love :
Accept you being yourself.
Those people who like force you to change isn't with love .
Although they like pretend it .
I am so happy for you.
That's great to hear. Bet that made your day.
:)
I imagine your happiness, I hope your mom realizes that even these little things can help you to feel more confident.
I'm really happy for you :)
Happy for you!
My mom just says"there is something wrong with you" lol
Wow what an awesome story, your Mom seems awesome, hopefully my mom is as cool about me as yours is!
That's really cool. My parents and most family is rather religious and probably won't be ever calling me that for a long time if not at all. But glad you got called pretty :)
