Title: Can any of you still look female after years on T?
Post by: BearGuy on July 11, 2014, 10:40:13 PM
Hi guys
Just out of curiosity and a "lesbian past" thing, my ex and I bought me a wig for me to go to the gay parade in. I have no objections...even though I always knew I was a man on the inside, I don't have anything stopping me from playing a girl part once in a while - note, once in a while xD.
So, I put the wig on, makeup and all, and compared to an old picture of me no T and 100% fem (forced to adapt to "normal" standards of society). Well...same face, except thicker nose and eyebrows, and slightly more masculine, sharper look in the eyes. It's like maleness is emanating from it. BUT. It looks 90% similar to how I used to look.

I find this pretty cool. I'm 1 year 8 months on T, and if I shave my face entirely, put a wig and makeup on, I look almost identical to how I looked back then...except I look a lot more middle eastern (I am 1/4 Armenian). I look like a 100% Armenian hairy chick xD

What about you guys? I know a lot want to have NOTHING to do with their past. I was like that too in the beginning...but now I'm like hey. I was born female-bodied, and now I have a male brain in a somewhat male body. It's something different... I'm unique. Dysphoria is starting to go away the more I'm on T...and now that I uncovered a slight interest in males, I feel suddenly comfortable with my own genitals, how I look... cuz hey. We're all people. I'm proud to have a vagina and be a true man on the outside, it's not that common!!! xD Of course, I still wish I'd wake up one day with a real penis. Life would be much easier.......or would it? ;) Maybe it's because ya'll cheered me up the other day...made me think straight. I still have to thank each of you separately for reading and replying to my long rant.

I probably couldn't because my face and neck filled in a lot more since starting T. I also gained 20 lbs and my acne got worse. I would probably look like a pre-everything MTF if I tried. No disrespect, but that's probably what I'd look like.

Hey! I also gained about 15lb, but right now was severely depressed over my breakup and lost 10lb or so over the past 2-3 weeks. Acne should get better within time though! I had a little around 6-12 months, then it went away...I occasionally get a pimple or two on my face a few times a month but nothing more. Usually goes away on its own.

You look great in your pic by the way. Nothing female, at all. Wow. :)

Thanks dude. I hope it goes away soon. My dad had it really bad when he was a kid, so it's probably genetic. It still sucks though.

And I'm sorry about your break up.. but there's always more fish out there  ;)

Oh ya, it definitely is genetic (in most cases). Both of my parents had clear faces during puberty, but all of my acne-friends had at least 1 parent with it.

And for sure! I believe that there's a lid to every pot... no matter how corny it sounds, it's true.  8)

Well I suppose as it's genetic how traditionally masculine someone is. There are trans guy who go drag as women, and some of them do a good job, let's say. I don't know anybody. I know a drag king that transitioned and he does go drag but still as a drag king. (It's still acting as he is the opposite of his personality.)
But I think there are guys who could pull this off. I wouldn't be interested but I am really short and kind of small boned, but I do have some facial hair, and I have been on T only a bit over a year.
