Title: My HMO has accepted me as a woman
Post by: allisonsteph on July 16, 2014, 12:44:23 AM
I legally changed my name and gender in February. I had been having difficulty getting my HMO to update things (though they have always called me by my preferred name). I got my new card with my new name and gender listed recently. I went to the doctor today and they gave me a list of routine screenings that need to be done:

They have fully accepted me as a woman.  :D
