A problem I noticed when I reached one-year post-SRS and began reducing my dilation interval to less than once per day was that my PC muscle seriously tightened, causing dilation that was quite painful if I went more than one day off.
I mentioned this to my GP at my annual physical and she referred me to pelvic physical therapy. My first session was a week ago and I had one more earlier this week. I'm already noticing a positive difference. I have a long way to go, but I have begun to gain control over that muscle and be able to intentionally relax it.
Sound like physical therapy is doing you a lot a good, maybe helping you to relax your PC muscles making dilating much easier and beneficial for you. I would say stay with PT still you a comfortable and relaxed with dilating.
