Wondering if its normal for young trans* people to go to a youth group not presenting as masculine? As i am only out to family and friends, not people in my school. I am not currently outwardly presenting as male all the way.
You should be able to wear whatever you feel comfortable in. No one will think differently of you :)

I second this opinion. It's a support group, after all. I don't think anyone would judge. :)
I realise I'm going the other way but it is very common for 'newbies' to present in their non-gender identified clothes. There is nothing wrong with that at all.
And enjoy yourself!!
Let us know how you go.
If it's trans only then I'd imagine it would be okay. If it's mixed LGBT then ehh... Maybe not so. I know some groups like that who have been funny about trans people to start with.
I don't know from personal experience though. My GP tried to send me to a youth group once instead of referring me. He couldn't understand why I couldn't skip work every week to go and that it wasn't what I needed in the slightest.
ya its a youth trans* only group it says, thanks for all your encouragement :P, i must first get a gps cuz i suck with directions in the city :l
Completely normal. From the support group that I occasionally go to, I learned:
Everyone is at different stages in both life and their transition. And the purpose of the support group is to be there with them regardless of where they are. :)
Good luck. Well I'm sure you went already, I hope it went well!
^ Haven't gone yet im going when i get back from Arizona, need to order a gps because my directional skills = fail
We have this happen a lot, it's absolutely no big deal.

Ya it looks like this has been answered pretty adequately, but in a trans group you should be accepted 100 percent as how you identify regardless how you present. I started out going to those meetings with female pronouns because I wasn't ready to go forward yet, and no one was ever judgy about it.
Good luck!
If you've got a smart phone you should be able to use that instead of a GPS
I agree that people are going to go out of their way to call you whatever pronouns and names you want to be called as well.
