Blade ~ Trinity tonight.
Blade Trinity. New home theater. Must watch vampire movie with lots of action.
Cindi likes vampire movies.
Ditto on vampire movie awesomeness. I watched Underworld, Underworld: Evolutions, and Blade Trinity.
I loved Underworld! I have a DVD of it that I haven't opened yet. That's got to change this week.

I just saw RISE with Lucy Lui (a good Vampire movie) and also Planet Terror (one of the Quentin Tarrentino films).
Both good horror films with plenty of gore in the Planet Terror film.
I was particulary taken by the jar of testicles that Bruce Willis had , taken from his men when that failed him!
Buffy
Where in the world did you see Rise? I read about it, but never saw it at the theatres.
I have a total thing for L.L. Num!!!!!!
My, but we are a morbid bunch.

I saw Rise a week ago as a double header with Harry Potter...
Lucy Lui was fab and her acting very good.
Some of the violence and sex scenes where heavilly censored here (which gave some continuity issues). Itw as released 19th July.
Buffy
Family Guy season 4 at the moment! I have all the seasons however I have seen them many of times! Because I love them! :)
i just got the phantasm films, and the harryhausen sinbad films, but i'll have to wait till i return from spain to watch them ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;

LOL ;D That's right! deal with it! >:D you can always watch many of the other channels which actually teach something worth learning... (i.e, National Geographic, The History channel, The science channel, etc, etc, etc) :P
I (we) are watching the six o'clock news! ;D

Gahhh! I couldn't watch the Playboy Channel. At my age, I might die from an aneurism?!

Braveheart, again! For some reason I cannot get enough of the music, the scenery . . .
. . . and the tragic love story!
:icon_bunch:
Brilliant movie! :) An absolute classic!
Tonight? Umm what ever Sky wants to put on... I guess?
I watched Blade Trinity and could not believe what they did with the editing. You know, I feel that if a film isn't fit for public consumption, it shouldn't go on the air. Put it on cable.... oh wait, it was on a cable channel! Here are some of the edits that they did:
dick: Hoo hoo
farted: tooted
There were many others I can't remember.... and of course the standard replacements for the f word.
So here we have a film where there are blood sucking vampires killing people, blood flying all over the place, a killing at least once a minute and we have to replace "I farted" with "I tooted". Holy smokes Batman! We'd rather see death and carnage than hear the word "farted". Give me a break. What does THAT say about our moral values? It's okay to drive stake into someone's heart, cut his head off, and disembowel him. But don't tell him that you farted. You might offend him!
I still enjoyed the film. I just wish they would have left it alone.

QuoteI still enjoyed the film. I just wish they would have left it alone.
Right on sistah-girl. It was a travesty. There was too much gratuitous everything in that film, but the censoring was whacked. It was like watching a Hong Kong film dubbed in Anglais.
The film was the weakest of the trilogy, so not a big loss. The first is a classic. The second is a cult fave. The third was ho-hum. At least in my book.
I enjoyed the ending when Vlad warns Blade that he is now the only vampire danger left, and how Blade comes back to life. It's left open and dark ~ no real ending. Maybe Blade can go to Europe and hook up with Kate Beckensale & the Underworld folks? ala the AVP crossover. which was quite surprisingly good actually, unlike Freddie v. Jason which I could not even bring myself to watch. Freddie got well, shall we say, rather rotund over the years, and Jason always was a bore to me.

I forgot. I'm just putting on Pan's Labyrinth. I rented it last month, but I could not shut up Guillermo Del Toro's commentary on the DVD I was given. So I could not watch it. I hate listening to commentary while watching a film. My best friend does that and I HATE it! Grrrrrr
TV editing is why don't actually watch it on TV... I let the TV pick my movie schedule sometimes though. I saw underworld starting, so I went over and popped in my underworld DVD! Then I felt like watching the sequel while Spiderman was on (why was that on between two vampire movies anyway?), then watched blade trinity on DVD so I don't have to deal with commercials, or "tooted" ;)
Just got 300 on DVD so now I am going to watch some hot men wearing loincloths kick some ass. THIS IS BEEFCAKE! <3 Gerard Butler
My daily recorded episode of As The World Turns. :P

After my movie was over, I watched ancient battle tech on modern marvels.
Did ya know that France was named after the battle axe used by the Gauls? It's true!
It was on the science channel, so it must be true!
Now 60's tech is on. Kinda boring.
QuoteMy daily recorded episode of As The World Turns.
::ick:: didn't I read somewhere that there is a trans-character on one of the soaps?
I watched Ugly Betty last week for the first time [by accident] and the chick that played Mystique in X-Men was a transsexual character, or so she said. I was half asleep, so maybe I imagined the whole flippin' thang? :-X
some ->-bleeped-<-ty ass zombie movie on tv. sci fi chanel.

Ahhhh, I love that scene. One of my faves I think. Always makes me cry a little.
I saw Un Chien Andalou today in an art gallery in spain. I would have felt cultured but I was realy only watching it for the ants and the eye sliting and weird mild porn.
The world news! interesting things are going on in the world...
Wall Street keeps on going down hill....oh well. :(

Beauty and the Geek.
OK, OK. My dirty little secret. I love to watch really bad reality t.v. if I'm killing time.
Brick and I just watched Barry Bonds tie the home run record. I don't like baseball. But Brick has taken me to a few Giants games and I've always had a good time. I got to see Barry hit some home runs every time we went.
So tonight, he made history and we were watching. For a brief moment, we held something just for fun in common with many people.
That's very cool.

Boneyards on the Discovery Channel has been on in the background all day.

My cruel & unusual HoneyBear is forcing me to watch Walker:Texas DeRanger >:(
:'(
I'm probably watching State of Mind and Army Wives tonight on Lifetime.
Afew sidenotes to prior posts:
The first two Blade movies are awsome
Also, despite the track record of most Jason movies, Freddy Vs. Jason was pretty damn good. It's also the ONLY good Jason film.
Just wanted to make those points.
I watched a movie called Peacefull Warrior, which is based on a book based on true events.
I like stuff with lots of philosophy in it.
I am watching the Discovery Channel. "The evolution of galaxies"

I'm watching Joe vs the Volcano kind of cheesy but there just something about it I just like. I love the scene when Joe walks out of the doctors office.
I saw Alien V's Predator Requiem. It was pretty good! I thought the end was a bit of a rip off of Resident Evil Apocalypse! They are both good movies although a little corny in my opinion.
I saw I am Legend at the pictures, it was okay but I prefer 28 days later.
I'm watching Michael Caine's Alfie tommorow.
You either have to read "I am Legend" or watch the vincent price version which is titled "the last man on earth"
"The last man on earth" is in the public domain and can be downloaded for free without fear of justice kicking in your door and smashing you in the face with a lawsuit.
to be honest that's not something I fear anyway
Well, what if they kicked in your door and took away you cans of spam?
i'd beat them off with my SPAM cookbook.
Easy to cure yourself of Spam. Go to Austin Minn. and do the factory tour. Did the trick for me.
Me nd Melissa even though we're brokeup sit back and are gradually watching the charmed series. We have and are on up to season three.
I want to watch the human weapon series.

Just saw 'The Mist' last week. Thought provoking movie, couldn't figure out who was the more evil though? Mrs Carmody or the monsters in the mist? >:D
I love back to the future,
I've just watched no country for old men, pretty typical coen brothers to me...people mumble at each other and walking silently along vast well shot wildernesses before shooting at each other, mumbling some more and going home.
