Good news, I'm finally on the road to starting T!
I am going to be going to planned parenthood for my T, and my parents are going to help me pay for it. They've wanted me to get more information, and so of course I will be talking to my specific planned parenthood, but I was wondering if any of you guys had some experience and could answer a few questions for me?
1. Your first appointment with bloodwork and such, how much did that cost?
2. Did you need anything other than the normal health history and stuff like that?
3. How long was it from the first appointment until you could start T? (I want to start T before college, and I'm taking a trip right before I go, so I want to plan accordingly. My college also starts late, so I've got time, it's not super soon.)
4. Just for clarification purposes, it is informed consent, correct? I haven't heard of Planned Parenthood offering hormones any other way. I am sure my planned parenthood offers hormones, but they don't have any information further than that on their site. They only state that they offer them.
And if you have anything else to say you can totally reply or PM me or whatever.
They often work on a sliding scale. Call and ask what to bring if that is what you hope for.
So far I haven't paid a dime. I billed everything to my insurance. Shots every 2 weeks for the past two months and blood work twice.

What insurance do you have?
I hope my insurance covers it but who knows :/
Because of the lack of much information about Planned Parenthood hormones, I'm making an entire page on my blog dedicated to my transition through Planned Parenthood, so if you want to check it out, here's the link. http://frozenleatherjacket.tumblr.com/tagged/planned_parenthood_hormones (http://frozenleatherjacket.tumblr.com/tagged/planned_parenthood_hormones)

Awesome! I will hopefully be following your blog =) (Hopefully, because I have really bad ADD and have a hard time following anything). I think it's great that you are writing down your journey for others to be able to see how the process works.
