I'm supposed to start my transition in less than a month!
My problem is that my job is a private company, and the fact that
no one is giving him these funds to pay us, and I'm going to move in
with my partner and start school....so Im alil freaked out.
Should I get another job once school starts?
Sorry, I'm not sure what you mean. Can you explain?
Sorry, I wrote that in a panic. ^_='
But there's a lot of things I have on my plate that need my
financial attention, but the job I have, the schools aren't
paying my boss, So I don't get paid.
I'm really excited to start HRT, but with my funds not being
paid to me or my boss, I may have to be pushed back.
I've been patiently waiting for this day, and with me
going to school or even moving in with my partner, I
can't afford it when my job isn't getting the funds from the schools.
I guess I'm just anxious....
Well if you're in a job that isn't paying you then I would definitely suggest you get one that does pay.
You're right :/
As much as I love this job, I don't like the fact that
the school are being greedy with the funds.
I would go to the school financial department and ask why you have no food to eat because they have not paid your employer?
If they have in the past and stopped it just might be a error on there part.
I believe there is a government agency in the US (Department of Labor I think) who will mediate between employees who haven't been paid and their employers.
I also believe that not paying an employee is a CRIME, and that there are enforcement mechanisms.
Don't accept this. If you work, you deserve pay. "I haven't been paid myself" is no excuse on your bosses part.

You have a point. I wish the method of the way the money get circulated better. The process is that, he gives them an invoice to the school and board of ED.
Then they give him a check of X amount of money. And since the school don't hold up to their part, we just sit there.
I'm going to talk to him about pulling the program out if they don't pay us on time, because its taxing on my time since I will be going to school.
I wish he would do that payment in advance...or something.
