Title: Starting documentary blog
Post by: caliyr on July 26, 2014, 01:25:54 PM
Hello guys,

Im sure I am not the first one who started a blog to document their transition (this is not my first attempt on this but I intend to actually keep doing it), but I wanted to share this post here.

I'm 21 and got back on T just 3 weeks ago (been on T for 9 months before but been off for a year so I've started from 0 again) and I am going to document my transition; voice recordings, images on facial and other changes, gonna share info on both the UK system and other things, stories, etc...

I'm doing this mostly to document my own progress and also to provide insight for other people, be it trans people or cis.

PS. Im an idiot and forgot to post the link omg.
http://captaingherkin.tumblr.com  dont ask. every url I wanted to choose was taken. Also there is no content yet, will start in a few days on a regular basis.

Thanks

@chipper, thank you! Please do leave a link for your blog, I'm very interested. I think posting will be therapeutic indeed, and I really want to have a log of my things and if I dont do it online, I keep postponing it and not doing it anymore after a while. I've followed some blogs ages ago and they gave me lots of info, hope and insight and I intend to try and give the same thing back to others.

@Neospector, its really great to blog about your transition, you can look back at your progress and give others hope/answers/etc.

I will definitely be a loyal reader, as a UK resident and a person who will have to utilise the NHS should I ever decide on surgeries, I'll be very interested to see how your experience pans out.

Finally some updates- sorry for the big silence, was working a lot these days, plus my boyfriend just moved to London and had to help him a lot, and spent all my (not too much) free time with him.

Got my second injection today, update available here: http://captaingherkin.tumblr.com/post/93966026553/2nd-man-jection
