Weather Underground says it's 58 tonight in Anchorage but it feels chillier and there's the smell of woodsmoke in the air. It makes me think of Autumn and it's not even August.
Well today in Sydney it is still Winter but felt like early Spring. This is supposed to be our coldest month but we had plenty of sunshine and also around 58F.

Indeed, today was very beautiful in Sydney.
Sorry to hear about your encroaching Fall, Wynter.
Last week I was peeling myself from the sheets in Manila tropical heat, this week I was a popsicle in Oz an today was just right.
Our winters in Sydney are mild to say the least for anyone who wants to move here.
36C in my part of Japan today. Roll on autumn I say lol

I'm not! It's my favourite time of year! :D
It was 34f here last night. The cool is ok but I don't want the garden to freeze yet!!!
What is this Autumn?
Living in California, we only have one season all year: Summer. Ick.
It's not fun, we really need rain. It's pretty bad.
You made me so nostalgic and envious :
Autumn , woodsmoke , Alaska , long and peaceful autumn-winter nights , ...
I love all of these
We have some here where I live , yet it is a little more temperate and also , now I live in a big city for five months already and I miss the feeling of Nature , here it seems to always be quite the same feeling - man made environment .
I wish someday I will at least visit Alaska , if won't be possible to settle down there [sigh] .

Super hot and not autumn-y during the day in Portland OR, but cold enough at night and early morning for slippers and sleeping caps the last few days.
