Reena has been having some different thoughts along the way. I am new and just came out a short time ago from my male self to getting on with life as a female. What has been going on with me recently, is when i see a pretty or very well dressed lady, I want to be that person and feel a very strong desire to be that woman. Is this the way i am supposed to feel inside myself as i am going to be a woman in the future, and want to be dressed like her. I enjoy my time walking or sitting around thinking of the future and who i am going to be one day and looking forward to it. Though I have not started HRT as of yet, but do have my RX and just waiting till i get settled with work and an abode on my own , I was wondering if anyone had these same feelings that i am presently having. Any help would be appreciated from you ladies. I look forward to hearing from some of you, as your information has always been good for me on other forums

Hi Reena and welcome to Susan's. What you describe is perfectly natural for me, I have always felt that way. That's what sets me apart from most other genetic males - when I see an attractive well dressed woman I think "Wow, I wish I could be like her!". So carry on enjoying the way you feel and looking forward to your future life.

Yes, that is how you're supposed to feel. Women are forever checking out each other's hair, clothes, shoes, etc.
They see a woman looking great in a dress - they want that dress and go up and ask where she bought it.
They see a woman and love her hairstyle - they want to know who her hair dresser is.
So yes, your feelings are normal.

I am glad with your input ladies that i should be feeling this way, it makes me feel alot better about myself. Have to say I've always felt the same too, I wondered if it was just madness or normality.
For what it's worth... I'm a man. I live my life as a man. I suppose the best definition of me would be bisexual transgender fetishist, though I don't like definitions. Anyhow, as a man, I too feel the same way sometimes. Sometimes I look at women and think "Wow, I want to be with her." Other times I think, "Wow, I wish I could BE her!" So even from someone who is not going to become a woman, that is a VERY natural feeling. 8)
