Title: final stage of coming out
Post by: awilliams1701 on July 30, 2014, 06:31:20 PM
I'm out everywhere except work. I talked with someone high up in HR. She says that our company has protected LGBT from discrimination since 1990. However I work with over a dozen subcontractors not to mention government people as well. She's going to help with my outing and we're talking about having me show up to work as Ashley before the end of August. I'm really excited to end guy mode once and for all. So far with the exception of 2 of my sisters everyone else has been really supportive. I can only hope it goes as well at work as well. I work with some really good people so I'm optimistic.

Good luck Ashley, that's certainly exciting to finally be out at work as well. It's awesome that your employer sounds so supportive. I'm sure it will go great.

I so wish you the best Ashley

So maybe it's time for you to start working on the name change.

Will cement Ashley in there minds for sure.

Congrats.
