Hi everyone,
I know this has been touched upon before in other posts, but I'd like to know if anyone knows any proper voice technique I could use to increase the power and sustainability of my singing voice. I used to be a soprano before T, and now I can barely hold a note for ten seconds. :s It hurts to sing, and that makes me sad, because I love it. I feel like I'm close to a baritone now, and I think it's great, but I barely have any capability for singing anymore.
I'm finding it hard to locate my new singing range (I've been on T for nearly 2 years now). Any thoughts, please?
I would highly recommend getting proper voice training. Singing improperly can do a lot of damage to you and it's not like you can just go out and buy a new voice. They'll be able to help you overcome the hurdles you have with singing and tailor things to exactly what you need specifically. Having said that, this might be a good option if it's not possible to get actual lessons

But still if you possibly can, get a good vocal coach.
Hi Evan,
Thank you for the advice and for the videos. I'll Watch them and see if they help me improve and then I'll consider finding proper voice training. I'm not sure that it's available in my city, but I'll give it a try.
I appreciate your help! :D
I'm with Evan. Every city/town is almost guaranteed to have a voice coach or singing teacher. You can probably contact your local school or University and they may be able to point you in the right direction.
