Well I am but I'm not proud of it. Boxer shorts in fact.... It is moving day to get the last of my x-wife's things out of our old house before we sell it. So boy jeans, oversized tshirt, with undershirt to hide the girls, and my old tennis shoes.... with boxer shorts out in the rain looking like a drowned rat.
I routinely wear guy underwear to work as well. It helps maintain the disguise as it were.
well, I'm not wearing men's briefs. At the moment it's a pretty lighter then navy blue lace panty I got from Target
Ewwww! Guy stuff? Hopefully the only one wearing those is my future Mr. Lucky Guy, whoever that is! ;D
Admittingly my n00bie'ness to the whole panty thing and my "wobbly bit" has made me a late adopter.
Hmm. No not here but might be removing a pair tonight >:-) ;D ;)

Woman's panties for 2 years.
My guy panties were bikini or G-string. I have not had briefs since I was 14 or 15.
Briefs? Never. I do keep some boxers around sure, but, I don't really wear them anymore, I haven't bought any in years actually, it has been all female underwear for a while.
I forget the last time I wore guys underwear..
Last time I admitted that here, I got called a crossdresser... ::)
Haven't worn boxers in 10 years but I think there are a couple of pair hiding in the bottom drawer of my armoire
be well

You know sometimes Evelyn you really do ask the most bizarre questions. And no, I am not wearing any underwear. I am in bed.
Rosie
I just gave away my mens briefs. I only kept one pair, my superman boxers. Gotta keep those. Also will be buying a lot of boy shorts...I like them, a nice blend of a pair of boxers and panties.
I use boxers as shorts now for around the house lololol
Nooooo!!!!
First bit of guy wear I threw out was my tighty whities. My butt wouldn't look that great in them anymore after a year of E anyhow :)

Who the heck accepts used undies, esp dude undies lol. Do have to agree on boyshorts though. Once you fill out they really fit nice.
Not me. I wear Jockey for her french cut cotton panties. It has been so long now that I don't remember just when I started wearing them.
Has any man worn "briefs" since, like, 1990? Maybe my grandfather. Not even sure my dad is that uncool. Boxers are the standard today, aren't they?

Watch what underwear are sold in the mens department at your local Walmart, there is a reason they stock so many packs of them.

A rather unpleasant one, it would seem!
I have worn ONLY female panties and other frilly things since last year for underwear.
I went out several times last year in push-up bras.
I started super-full-dose HRT 7 weeks ago, already have small female breasts
OMG I feel SO happy!
;D
And I have super protruding, always-erect nipples.
If this keeps up much longer, I sure won't need push-up bras anymore...
::)
Johanna.
I stopped wearing mens underwear once I went full time. I've thrown out most of my old clothing. I kept a few shirts though so I can turn them into tank tops cause I really love the designs on them.

hm actually im not,
those panties my mom got me are surprisingly comfortable...
Nope. I always did wear briefs, I admit it (I liked the "control"), but they were never more comfy than panties. And now, well, it'd feel extra silly.
I guess the question makes much more sense for non-op gals, which was originally intended of course.
What is the threadcount on male briefs? It looks like 50 or something lol
How about us pre-op orphans. I have to wait until Jan 2015 :(

Nope no modeling career as of yet and if it's to be mens underwear then definitely not. Not unless I can hang out with the other models and flirt.
Briefs, wow, that was WAY to long to remember when last I wore them... probably earley school days.
I have been mainly wearing boxers after that, sometimes male gstrings.
but for the last few years it has been panties only. mostly bikini style, but occasionly g's.
I think there still is a pair of guy underwear lying in the cupboard, which might get worn maby once in a month or so, but really not that much.

QuoteHas any man worn "briefs" since, like, 1990?
If a man is working out (particularly running), briefs are much better suited than boxers to holding parts in place.
I threw out all my male undies around 2 years ago. So all female panties here.
When I did wear male underwear it was boxer briefs. I couldn't stand full boxers as they left too much room for things to move around.
Unfortnately I do. But only to work. But as soon as I get home those things come off for some nice panties.
Yuck. Hell no!
I ditched those damned things for good back in the fall of 2011, a year and a half before even starting transition. I've been wearing Hanes Cotton Stretch hipsters ever since then, and there's no way in hell I'm ever going back to those thick, heavy-waisted, scratchy, awful things.
Men's briefs feel like you're being lifted and pulled on all day. Cotton stretch panties feel like your genitals are being embraced by a soft cloud of comfort. Ahhh... ^_^
I decided to try them back then, just to see what they felt like, even though I was still 100% male physically, and as soon as I did, I was like "Oh my God, what have I been missing my whole life?" and haven't worn those old damned things a day since then.
(And for those who are wearing them for work... why? Seriously, nobody cares. When the hell does anyone see your underwear while you're at work? You'll be shocked at how much you can get away with without a single person even noticing.)

I did in 2003 because I couldn'thave anything touchingmy genitals as I had a bad, horrible, painful, itchy yeast infection. But, now, no. Not so much out of hatred for men's clothes, but out of neccessity since I wear mainly skinny jeans and even my other women's jeans are tight, so it dictates that I wear panties. They are all plain thought, my most femme pair being a pair of purple Hanes Her Way. I have some spanx to for those super tight jeans. It's like there's nothing there...ugh
I had to google up "briefs", lol. So we are talking about men underwear then? :) Yep, sign me in too :D.
Bikini or hipster panties. Victoria's Secret is beyond amazingly comfortable and well worth the price.

Right on, Carrie. I have worn red female panties for about 6 or 7 months now. Haven't worn any male underwear since last year.
To everyone here who wants to wear beautiful female panties --- but maybe don't wear them all the time, at work, or whatever -- or if you haven't "come out" all the way yet, like me --
Hey, Carrie is totally correct. Who is going to see your female panties, anyway, while you work as a male? No one. So indulge in your femininity, even if you still partly in the closet, like me....
And if you like polished toenails, why not keep your toenails polished full-time, like I do? Unless you take your shoes and socks off at work, who is going to see them at work as a male, anyway? No one!
So GO FOR IT, GIRL!

I'm not really allowed to wear anything fem while I'm at home (don't even start with me!), but I wear hipsters, or girls briefs while out on my trips/at work, and only on my last day going home, do I wear a pair of male briefs, in case the wife or kids sees me changing clothes when I get home. I switched all my guys tees for Lady Hanes crew or v neck tees.. They feel sooo much better, both fabric and fit.. The waist is tapered and fits me better than the straight tent cut of guys Hanes tees. I was really shocked at the price difference tho... $4/ea at Walmart, compared to the .89 for a pack of 10 guys tees. ;)
Ok, I'm kidding abt that... Seriously.. It's $10 for a 5-6 pack of guys tees, compared to $4/ea girls tees, and those are sale prices!! Normally they are $5/ea!!! Now I have to figure that into the transition costs!! Ugh!! Panties tho.. $6/for 5pack... That..I can deal with.
But the colors... OMG, tHe CoLoRs!!! Seriously... I got one of every color tee WM carries in Lady Hanes... Faded Glory is as pretty but I only found Vneck.. No crews.. eh... But still, the colors, on E are so incredible.. This. If I get sh1t from the family for picking colors, TFB! Medium size tho.. really hugs the twins, and will out me in a heartbeat with them.. So, no bare tees at home, I gotta wear a button down shirt over it..
Damn, didn't want to hijack this from briefs to tees, sorry, sis.. I still have a drawer of briefs, all black drk blue, grey.. to blend in with my uniform pants (white def shows thru).. I guess until I get some type of bottom surgery (if at all) briefs, at least for two days (1st day of work, last day coming home) I can put up with..

hahahaha, that is wonderful.
It was always boxer briefs for me: shaped like a boxer, fits like a brief.
I always hated that 'swinging free' sensation. The last time I wore them was in June for a medical checkup (not full time or out at work), and it was an oddly constricted feeling and I just couldn't wait to get out of them.
I, too, hope to have some kind of burning ceremony one say when I go full time :D

Just to let you folks know, when Evelyn is wearing jeans, she's usually going commando. It's so much more comfortable this way.
Alright. Will keep you updated.

Ok, here's what I don't get. I've tried women's undies (I'm pre-op), and they are somewhat uncomfortable. They're not made to accommodate the equipment I have, and it ends up with bits and pieces hanging out where they shouldn't, etc. During the workday, the last thing I need to be thinking of is how I've got one ball that isn't, er, playing ball. Boxers it is, end of story. Down there, I'm still a guy, whether I like it or not.
That said, I do regularly wear tanks under my shirt rather than guys' plain white tees. That's practical. Lots of room, upper bodies are not as different as below the waistline stuff, and it makes sense.
What am I missing? To me, the fact that they are so uncomfortable and noticeable only highlights the fact that something's wrong with my body. Panties don't make me feel feminine, but rather they highlight the fact that I'm clearly masculine.
???
Oh my gosh! it's been sooooo many years I forgot what men's underwear look like. For me it's bikini panties all the way -as it has been for many many years even before going full time. I love my pretty pink laced ones -so comfy. I just don't have much to hide, never did.

I know what you mean I think, especially about the ones that come in sets with bras in the fabric that doesn't stretch at all. Things do tend to spill out a bit.
Other fabrics have a little give, keep the bits I don't want in check, and help to calm some of the dysphoria down.
We all suffer the GD differently and deal with it in our own ways I think :)

Hi Johanna! No, they don't... but I'm taking it anyway... Low dose.. Once a day instead of twice, so my changes will take longer, less noticeable, but still change.. girls briefs or hipsters, they pack the dangling participles.. tighter.. Spiro shrinking things down, so the panties are better for me.
It's monsoon here in AZ.. Couple biiiiiig cells rolling thru right now. Heavy, beautiful rain!!
On a really good note.. I came out to 16 of my girl friends on FB, and every one of them (now) have accepted who,and what I am.. They had known me as Anne for several years, so even tho.. I'm.. Look like I do right now, they only knew me as female, and that's how they accept me now. My life, has been immensely better this past week because of them. Even met one for brkfast the other day. It was wonderful. I love them all, doubly more now. Most exciting thing is... Most of them are either bi, or.. ;)

If there are any fun details that appropriate for the sexuality forum of this website at some point...well, we are reading...

This is SOOO awesome that you have such great female friends on FB. How truly wonderful they have accepted you.
So, I guess it almost goes without saying that you will be wearing pretty, comfortable panties when you talk with them, or visit with them in person.
Monsoon season in Phoenix and Tucson has oppressive humidity and heat. Flag is nicer at this time of year, yes? Or at least Payson if you can't get all the way to Flag.
GREAT Paula, that you can take low dose anti androgen.
Yeah, spiro can help shrink things which can only be good, girl.
Once you get a little more feminine physically, so you don't have to totally live a lie anymore...
Then maybe it might be easier to get your family to accept full-dose pure estrogen (17 beta estradiol or estradiol valerate like I take) and full dose pure progesterone (micronized progesterone, like I take, or any other comparable pure form that is not synthetically altered).
And if you get a little breasts or more feminine feature, this might help easier convince your therapist, MD, endo, or other "gatekeepers."
It is too bad when family or friends act as "gatekeepers" as sometimes even therapists and MD's can. Good therapists don't IMO, they talk you through your potential femaleness.
Be the fearless female that you say you are, inside.
Fly free!
;)

Hella no way. I COULD never live with men garment. Especially because I still have the D and have to hide it with some very tight strings. I still stick with my double string combo (one very tight & the other to hold things in place to 100%). Well this works off for me so I suggest it to anyone who struggles with a distortion at their scrotch.
heres a taste of how it looks like if you do that
Sorry for all the nudity but I am pretty open minded and I have no problems showing you anything out of my little secret box :x. I just hate how tape feels on my balls so I always skipped that!
Edit: Dont mind my nasty ass sloppy bed with the messed up blanket but I am a really sloppy girl I cant help it. But atleast my boyfriend does all the tidying since I really am not good at that, but I hate living in dirty flats or what ever so some1 has to do it xD!!
It seems to work quite well on you I tried something like that but it never seemed to keep that dreaded thing tucked away for long, I tried tape but bloody hell that hurt peeling that off so now I just go with nickers that are 1 size to small it seems to work for me pretty well

No underwear shots? :( Not really any different than a micro bikini.
Um... The first thing one can do, and remain 100% stealth, is to wear panties. Now I use Hanes Her Way cotton briefs - and these are sure not men's briefs...

Mine are Jockey Elancee (for her) french cut cotton panties. They are definately female but not much different than the male version, except that they place less emphasis on those male parts when worn by a male..
Differences/Similarities:Women's have lined crotch where men's don't.
Women's have narrower crotch but wider than most women's panties (more material to cover those things).
Men's have front pouch to pull up and put a disgusting emphasis on those male things.
Neither has a frontal fly opening.
Briefs are quite similar.
Women's french cut have higher leg openings.
Women's full briefs have a higher waist and offer more coverage.
jup but my pictures are considered too nude / sexy :< so I cant share my underwear tips anymore <.< :x

I use a public laundromat.
If someone is so gauche as to comment, "they're my girlfriend's." I always wash and fold my wife's undies, and mine, when I do the laundry, anyway.
I ditched all my guy stuff well over a year ago.
Gawd no!!
I use to wear girls undies more for the experience when I Cd'd, I now wear them out of just necessity! I never wore boxers back when.....only briefs. But when I made the switch....oh my! how comfortable. I started by wearing girls sizes and all in cotton and plus those were the only ones that fit. I had a few of the lingerie type but it was hard to tuck. Now that things have shrunk a lot I can now wear the sexy ones. Its also easier to wear certain style jeans with a more silky panty.
I still have 15-20 pairs of cotton undies I don't wear anymore, many with cute little designs young girls would like.....its all I could find in my size :/
During the summer I am unable to wear panties, during the winter months I can wear bicycle shorts over top of them to hide any peaking out. Briefs for me atm.
Only at home, only briefs, and only because of the support they give.
95% of the time I wear the correct and better fitting panty verus the horrid briefs. I have no plan to wear briefs/boxes again for everyday. But I will wear a pair if I'm exercising or doing lots of movement where I would tare panties up from use.
no
effin'
way.
NOT ME!
Why would I want to torture my bum and sensitive parts by wearing scratchy undergarments? They look ugly, have ridiculously over-engineered elastic (presumably to look more manly), are made in some of the most revolting or drab colours ever conceived.
Nope. Only time I wear boxers is the next morning. Won't go into details though of the night before. :embarrassed:
I've seen Hanes mentioned a few times. Good for starters? ???
Also NE1 try Jocky?
Ick ick eww!
I wouldn't wear boy undies again if someone offered me a thousand $'s to! I got rid of those many years ago :)
I love my pretty panties, lots of lace, soft pretty colors, matching sets.....it's so nice to be a girl :)
Not anymore. I just recently stopped wearing men's underwear of any type and I'm not planning on switching back. I still have them around, but they'll stay in their drawer.
A pair of boxers on over the panties with a bra top cami or t-shirt can be kinda cute to lounge about the house in :icon_chick:
I find women's undies don't have enough soakage for the drop that inevitably escapes after I pee. The extra layer is in the wrong place.
I never wear boxers for the same reason. Always "bikini briefs".
Since I still present as male, minimizing things is not a priority. I dress for comfort, and I find briefs more comfortable ... for now at least.

There's always panty liners strategically placed in the correct spot, if you have problems with any subsequent leakage.
At the moment its calvin klein trunks for comfort due to testicular discomfort, wearing nice knickers is out at the moment as it just makes the discomfort worse
My mens briefs have been gone for months. I like shapewear panties. They help keep tuck in place and are comfortable
to wear cause they feel like they gently hug my body
This topic actually drudges up some bad memories for me :P
I had given two unopened packages of men's briefs to someone in need a few years ago, but then they were found dead awhile later :-\ Don't know what happened to the briefs
When I first started seeing my shrink about my gender identity issues and told him I wanted to attempt transition again he suggested that I first try wearing women's knickers under my men's clothing. Y'know, "ease into it". I kind of felt that was absurd advice. He was talking to someone who had previously cross dressed on and off as part of my first attempt for close to two years. "Yeah, doc, I already know what wearing ladies undies feels like, sheesh". Also I don't think I could bring myself to wear any female clothing under my male clothing. It's probably odd, but it's just the way I felt.

This is sure a YMMV issue. For me I wear my women's briefs most of the time. In the winter, when I layer my clothes, from time to time a bra will get snuck into the mix - and not just a "sports" bra. All of this while outwardly presenting as male. Now when I do present female the bra has larger cups with judicious silicone inserts to augment the profile...

I never wear boxers for the same reason. Always "bikini briefs". Men's bikini briefs do not have a fly opening and they have only a single layer of material.

Good answer.
I haven't worn briefs since boot camp seven years ago. I haven't worn any male underwear since January. I finally got rid of all my male underwear when I moved in June. I have two bins full of panties (a guilty pleasure of mine :icon_giggle:): One is for thongs, the other is for full backs, mainly bikini, hipster, string bikini with a couple of boyshorts thrown in. :D

I have been sitting to pee for almost 20 years. Prostate infection in my 20's means there is always a "last drop" for me.
I do deliberately get briefs with no fly opening, I found the fly opening to often become very uncomfortable at awkward moments.
The briefs I get always have two layers of material at the front.

That's odd, I thought I was the only one. It just seems the older I get the more I have to shake, rattle and roll to get the last dregs out.
"Good till the last, drop." ::)
I've gone commando for a long time now and have no regrets about it.
