Title: Because we're different {Opinion}

Being transgender myself, I was taken aback at the juvenile way some people are reacting to this. Watching others pee should be the penalized offense here.

I was amused at one of the comments about a fellow having his small daughter offended.... Wasn't this incident at a night club?  Who takes their daughter to a night club?

I found that aspect of this discussion humorous.  The rest of it is the standard hoo hoo about nothing. The thing that I find encouraging about these online discussions  is that at least half of the messages are from people like us.  We are making our presence known.  Regardless how they feel about the issue, they can no longer ignore us.

Some bars and nightclubs may be more family oriented at different hours. My parents used to take me to a bar for dinner, take me to a relative, and then go back to enjoy the band, drinking, and playing pool.

I do agree on the point that they can no longer ignore us. They have attempted to keep us locked away for decades and now they can no longer do so.
