I was just curious cause I know I use it a lot when I'm grumpy about things XD.
Anyone on or use it?

It's kinda like a social MMORPG..but without quests and it's more sandboxy...and you have to make your own character from scratch....and you can't make in game money.
But It's fun XD.
I've never heard any Second Life players give neutral opinions of that game. It seems to both save and eat up lives. The last time I tried to play it my laptop wasn't able to handle it, but I've definitely considered joining.

You know it can be irritating but man is it worth it....Just to run around in a male av for a while. I usually hang out at clubs and things, just to relax. There are tons of LGBTQ communities on there too, I just haven't joined any yet cause I'm terribly shy.

Interesting to hear that I'm not the only one who doesn't find the internet to be a significant shield against social difficulties. I'm the same way in games until I feel like I know my way around.
The level of avatar complexity and mirroring of real-world groupings and activities in Second Life does sound pretty cool.

Oh gosh yes...
I'm actually worse in chat rooms than in real life... I'm a little social phobic so my reaction is to be big and loud and irritating so that people like me...then I go hide. Everyone always assumes I hate them.
Yeah the avatars are getting even better now that they have added Mesh and such. Definitely easier to customize.
Yeah but I haven't been on it in awhile
Yes, I'm on Second Life (actually on it right now decorating a store). My name there is Shinga Zahm, and I'm the owner of a cyberpunk store: DiGi: Digital Fancy. Running DiGi has been a lovely hobby of mine for a couple of years. I tend to be a hermit and stay on my platform several kilometers above my main store, but sometimes I venture out to try and meet people. :)

That sounds fantastic, I will definately have to visit your store in world!
I have an avatar on second life but to be honest I haven't played with it much and soak most of my time on star trek online so its kind of a second second life lol. That being said love to meet one of you sisters/brothers there. I had actually thought I might find something there to help with deconfusion but then I found this lovely place:) I have to admit the one thing that seems very common is the sexual aspect of the game its kinda of rampant in it but of course it does not have to be about that either. In game money haha ya pain in the arse to get. If I happen to sneak on there my avatars name is Jennifer jiggles. Ok I was a bad gurl here and there great place to explore the seedy side of life with now STD's:) Definitely have to check out that store:))
I haven't been on Second Life in a while. I used to frequent there with the BDSM aspect of a lot of places there. I hade used it a few times to carry out some fantasies that later did in real life. I found that once I did it in real life, it was more fun that way :) I still go there one in a while and get inspired by ideas ;D

I view SL as an alternative form of the internet. If you go looking in the wrong places, you're going to find stuff that's not appropriate. I stay away from those. In fact, aside from occasional shopping sprees, I rarely leave my little skybox. o.o
Hermit for slife!

DiGi: Digital Fancy (https://marketplace.secondlife.com/stores/149948) on the Marketplace. :p Feel free to message/friend me at
Shinga Zahm and mention you're from Susan's! I won't be on as much in about a week since school starts up, but I'll be around to pay rent on my parcel.

I'm on Second Life as well... it's been a form of therapy for me (allows me to be myself)... and a point of sadness (its only a game and not reality, I log off and I'm still trapped in this male shell)
As I have been there a few times. PM me I will send my screen name.
I'm there. Same name!
Last year I joined SL out of curiosity.
Got bored. Then I found a horror house that I loved. It was last October. I love the Halloween atmosphere! I literally knew every corner, including every corner of the labyrinth at the end.
Then the map disappeared with November. I stopped visiting SL. Will check again now that October is knocking at the door.
I've been in Second Life for 6 years. It lets me be the person I really am on the inside while keeping it hidden in the real world.
Been on SL for about two years now! My profile name is Galyo.
I have characters on SL. i keep trying to play it but until recently i didn't have a fast enough internet connection to play. so i don't know what i'm doing in the game lol. I forget me newest character's name but i do have it written down some where. if some one wants to teach me how to play around in it i'm sure to try again lol

SL has a very steep learning curve. XD I found that out the hard way. It took me about two weeks to get the hang of everything and get a feel for what all those windows actually do.
I don't have an internet connection at the moment, but when I do get it later this week you are free to add me as a friend on SL. My username is Galyo.
I said screw it and just made a new character on second life lol. chloedewynter :)
I'm on Second Life, been there since 2009. Add me... Soroya Ronin is my AVI's name! :)
I'm on Secondlife as well Poisonprinceliam
I practically live on SL. Georgie Pashinin. I dance my life away, enjoy shopping for things I can't in RL.
Generally hanging at Muddy's Music Café...my home away from home.
Stop by, say hello!
I played it for almost 2 years. It was a great opportunity for me since i didn't came out of being a transgender.
I was a horse breeder and it came to a point that SL was all that matters to me, I felt save there.
But since my coming out. i realised I don't need SL anymore.
And im saving a lot of money as well :)

That's funny. I've been on SL since 2013 and I've never spend any money on it. XD I've always been humbled by the generous donations from my friends.
I wouldn't be able to buy Lindendollars even if I wanted to, seeing as you need a creditcard for that.
