So anyone on ->-bleeped-<- has probably seen one of his videos. If your Pro 2A and like MAC on FB you have seen a link to one of his other videos. Well he is getting flamed pretty hard because of the video that made it's way to ->-bleeped-<- because of some of his views on our community. I have seen the video, but am choosing to not post it here so I am not held responsible for someone getting butthurt by it but anyone else can feel free to post a link to it. In the end yes I do feel part of his views were partially some bad experiences, but also from a lack of education about people like us. Now he has posted another video apologizing for the video but also asked some really good questions too. The videos name is Questions for the Transgender Community.
Personally I'm just wondering, short of outing ourselves for the sake of public information, which would make dating harder and more dangerous than before, is there any way to better educate the public so that the rather simple questions he asks in his Questions video are basically common knowledge?
Also one question he asks that I would like to ask here, how many more letters are we gonna keep adding to the name of the community before we say enough already? I mean in the last 9 years it went from LBG to LBGTQXYZABC.
Also if anyone is gonna flame me for taking his side on this, I guess I deserve it, but I know that I'm not about to risk my safety posting a video response to his video answering the questions but do want to see more people educated about us.
I like him. I think he's a pretty smart and reasonable guy and if he gets straight answers that make sense, I feel like he'd just nod and say "cool".
