Is it just me, or do cismen have larger Adam's apples on average? I've been looking around, and while some cismen's voice may not be as low as some transmen's, they have a more distinct bump. Would this also have anything to do with T entering one's body at different ages?
No I just think it's a genetic thing I have lots of guy friends and theres are not that noticieable, I think it depends really, I am pre T and have a noticeable adams apple. So I say genetic because my dads is really not that big.
And some people doesn't have any at all. I am MTF and I never had any adams apple before (and definitely don't want one now) And i didn't have androgen insensitivity or anything.
Agreed with the others, I've seen cisguys who basically don't have one. I think it's just genetic.
Depends on the guy you're looking at. The only ones around here I've seen are on very, very thin men.
I know it definitely varies from person to person, but I meant on average? I'm mostly asking since it recently occurred to me that I haven't met transmen with really big Adam's apple.
My brother, who is a cis guy, has a pretty sizable Adam's apple. My wife, who is a trans woman, doesn't have much of one at all. Genetics are funny.
I don't see it.

I only know one cisgender male who has a prominent Adam's apple, and he's quite thin.
Sorry, to rephrase, I really meant to ask if there were transmen with large, prominent Adams apple since I have not seen any. It was really inaccurate of me to ask for the overall average. Not focusing on cismen or transmen who have less noticeable bumps but of the opposite end.

mine is fairly prominent, though not as much so as randomdude's
I'm pre-t and I have one. I'm really skinny though too.
Wow randomdude you're definitely a great example. Looking good! There is hope after all.

Same here. Hopefully it'll be much more prominent once I go on T.
I don't think I would want one. Plus it would be painful to nick when shaving, like a mini knee to work around.
