Title: Getting fuzzy?
Post by: Brenda E on August 14, 2014, 04:12:34 PM
Another WTF question about hormones...

Parts of my skin that have always been hairless (backs of my upper arms, for example, or parts of my forehead) seem to have started to get fuzzy with very fine hair.  I was under the impression that body hair started to thin out rather than spread all over into places where it's never been before.

As long as it's just fuzz and not full blown two inch hairs, you'll be OK.

If you have had darker or more coarse hair removed then my electro says this is normal and is just natural vellus hair.  (I am having the longer ones removed).  She said we have always had some vellus hair and that on our face we didn't see it as we continually shaved it off with our razors.

Thankfully it's hair and not fur.  It could well be stuff I've had all along but only started to notice because the more obvious hair is now less obvious.
