Title: FTM Feminine Facial Features??
Post by: noah732 on August 17, 2014, 02:43:32 AM
This has been bothering me so much.

I'm pre-transitioned.

So I have totally feminine eyelashes and really girly lips, but what really crushes me is my round face. I see a lot of post-T FTMs with the similar facial structures as me and, to be honest, they don't really look like they pass.

What can I do about eyelashes? How about making my eyebrows thicker?

And also, will T have any effect on my face? Not the bones, obviously, but how about fat distribution and eyebrow thickness?

Thanks for your help.

Speaking from my experiences as someone who also has a feminine face, I've been on T for ten months and I still barely ever pass (although that might be from other factors). However, it also takes awhile for T to change things. I don't know what to do about eyelashes or eyebrows, but I do know that T does affect the face. Mine has gotten more angular. Sorry I'm not much help.

So far the only feminine features I have are my hairline and that fat on your cheeks.

I'm pre-T as well, and I've found that thickening eyebrows makes a big difference. My mom has this odd eyebrow mascara that I sneak sometimes and it dosn't look fake at all. Anything, as long as it's the right color, could do the trick. Now eyelashes on the other hand really shouldn't be messed with- I learned that the hard way. Long eyelashes aren't so bad though. And if your really hung up about the roundness of your face try a bit of contouring, or get a hair style that emulates sideburns (That's really helped me). Good luck :)
