Title: extreme sweating at night! HALP!
Post by: Felishia on August 18, 2014, 09:10:25 AM
So I'm sleeping at night, and I'm freezing, because of how much I'm sweating, the colder it is, the more I sweat.

Sometimes I think it's natural because the area between the matress and myself is not just wet, but seriously warm as I tend to take a fetal position at cold nights.

Sometimes I think it has to be something else, but I don't know what it could be, that wasn't in the medical guides!...

But it also happened before HRT; nevertheless, not as much as now.

My room is at around 35°C then I don't sweat.

Why do I ask here? well doctors would not tell me; I have no access to healthcare because discrimination in this country (Venezuela), but I think I could get blood tests easily via lying; I'm 19yo student, live with my parents, even when they hate how I am.

BTW I also seemed to have convulsions and dizzyness, and low sugar, pre-HRT and those issues all gone now, I think, I need an updated blood test; but the sweating has gotten worse.

I used to have bad night sweats the first few years I was on HRT and it turned out to be something akin to what menopausal cis women experience and has to do with the fact that estrogen and androgen blockers are killing off the male side, shrinking the testicles and the prostate. As it turned out much later I did have elevated blood pressure because I'm older and now have that under control. At any rate it would be smart to discuss this with a doctor, preferably and endocrinologist.
