Title: male with vagina thru srs
Post by: maschilepassivo on August 24, 2014, 08:29:58 AM
I just wondering if somebody of you out there wish to stay manly but in the same time go under SRS and have vagina, so to be a real 100% masculine total  bottom receiver. I feel this need for myself, I wonder who else has the same feeling

You are talking keeping your male parts and having GCS to create a vagina?

If so can not be done. Where the vagina is made is where the Erectile tissue ie the corpora cavernosa, corpus spongiosum enter the male body.

These are removed to make room for the Neo vagina.

I think you mean that you would not like to transition to a new gender, keep your gender identify as male, but have male-to-female GRS? I've seen a few other people with that desire over my time here, but I don't think they're still around. Unfortunately, it seems to be a very rare transition path, so I'm not sure how much support you'll find. I'd suggest checking out the non-binary section of the forum. You may be able to get some useful advice there.

EDIT: Oops! This is already posted in the non-binary section. :P

Pikachu, you are right, it is just having a vagina but staying manly as Ia am now, like any other FTM person who get hormones but dont get surgerym, sothey are male with vagina. In my csse i have born biological male and want to stay so but to transition into having a vsgin and no more male genitalia .

Well your first post was real veg. Mainly for me means more the bottom parts, sorry.

I think you maybe could but it is going to be hard i feel getting it done through a well know GCS surgeon.

WPATH SOC spells out the requirements and i think you will find it hard pressed to get the required letters needed.

The FTM have it a little easier in a choice like that somewhat but same they have there own WPATH SOC requirements that must be met.

I think that is why you do not see many here or around much but it could be possible if you could somehow work out the details.

Lots of luck.
Everyone has there own path to walk.

It is definitely possible to transition from male parts to female parts but retain a masculine identity.  Mind, just having these two conditions by themselves does not determine your gender.  There are "butch women" who transition from male to female but nevertheless socialize closer to a male stereotype.  Less commonly, we have had biological men who wanted to swap out the equipment but still retain a male identity.  Just as well, it would be possible to be gender non-binary, with a mixed, third, and/or fluid gender.

If you remove your male bits to make room for a vagina, then your body will not produce testosterone anywhere close to where it had before.  If you are intending to keep the rest of your body masculine, you may need HRT (androgen) to keep your testosterone where it needs to be.  I do not know what effects male hormones will have on the vagina.

If you identify as a male, it would probably not be worth the amount of effort and money to get srs. Firstly, I'm pretty sure you have to live as a female for a certain amount of time before you can get surgery, and if you were to get the surgery you would need to take hormones because your testes would be gone. If you just want a vagina for sexual purposes I would definitely say don't get srs. I'd only recommend srs if you are actually dysphoric about your penis.

I know some people privately have told me this.

I still feel male inside (though I present female) and just had SRS.

Unfortunately our kind is not recognized by the WPATH standards of care which still call for a year of living as a woman before SRS can be performed.

A very interesting question.  I've always wished I could start my transition with SRS first and remain in stealth for a while longer.   Let me and my wife get comfortable with the new me before anyone else needs to know.   In some ways I think it would be more beneficial to start this way.

I imagine starting hormones after SRS would be easier, no T blockers.
Doesn't SRS work better if you haven't been on hormones for too long?
When you do come out,  I think it would be much easier to change your id.
I'm sure there would be many more benefits.

I really don't like the current system where you have to prove to the world that you're worthy of SRS.

Take care,
Paige  :)
