This is an odd experience. I was at work talking with a female colleague and I suddenly became ridiculously aware that, "OMG I have breasts and here I am chatting with someone and it's like that's utterly normal that I have breasts now!!" I mean, obviously it is normal, except six months ago I would have been having a conversation with her but without me having (noticeable) breasts.
Maybe it's just that my brain is catching up with the changes. Like, I know the changes have happened and perhaps I'm used to them now but then BAM!! the sudden realisation that this is all still new and different hits out if nowhere. It's actually surreal to say the least.
Yes I think you have issues and an udder fixation.
Best to have a cold shower or go outside now.
I had a moment yesterday feeling good about things and how well they now fill a bra, so comfy and felt great.
Simply wonderful feeling after so many years of self hate.
It was very peaceful.
Hugs
J
It's like I'm not even aware of them being there and then all of a sudden I'm acutely aware. Maybe you're right about me being udderly fixated. :)
But I wonder if it's like that for cis women. Most of the time they're not all that aware of them then some guy yells out a comment from the other side of the road or starts starting at them while in conversation. Must be disconcerting.
I think ciswomen are more aware of them than you think.
I guess, I dunno, I've never asked!
Another thing I've thought is that maybe I'm just becoming more comfortable with my day to day life and presentation but I still get knocked out of that and realise everything has changed. Maybe I think too much!
..or maybe you are just adjusting to your life as a normal woman, a little past the adolescent stage but still young enough to appreciate all that being a woman can be.

I'm obviously not a cis woman but I am definitely well aware of mine, I've also noticed that other folks seem to be aware of them as well :D
Yah, they become unavoidably noticeable.
Running...
Crossing the arms...
Bumping into doors...
Ouch ouch ouch. I just wish mine would stop being sore. =_=
I think it takes time to get used to change. Boobs only started being part of the equation for a short time for you, so it's harder not to notice them. But I don't think cis girls aren't aware of their boobs. In fact, they're aware of them all the time. Society bombs them with beauty and body pressure that is undeniably. The ideal girl must be super thin, but have huge boobs and ass, which is biologically almost impossible. And heteronormative guys in general feel entitled to look at boobs, and there's lots of shaming. Both from guys who comment on girls' size and other girls as well. So I wouldn't say they are always aware of their boobs, since they've had them for most of their life and are just used to them, but the attention they get or don't get from other people reminds them of how powerful boobies can be. Like any other woman's body characteristic actually, since women's bodies are so much more objectified than men's.
i think anyone who's grown boobs has been painfully aware of them at least until they stopped being sore all the time.
after that come the bras, discomfort, concerns about the size, the shape, everything to do with boobs.
then breast feeding, and all the mess that comes with that activity.
and men won't let anyone with boobs forget that they have them.
i don't think cis women think about their boobs all the time though.

Yes, great point. It's not like I'm not aware of those things having existed before but I haven't weighed up how much it must impact on all women (cis and trans) since I'm just at the starting point and cis women have had their breast often for many years...most of their life.
I suppose what I was thinking was that for cis women breasts are just a part of the body and their brains, over many years, accommodates that as part of one's self mental mapping. Mine still seems to forget and then get surprised that they're there! Like they weren't there a few minutes ago and then "WOAH!, Where did they come from??!"

Oh. I totally see what you mean. I guess that really is due to the brain map image. Since you just started growing them, it's normal that certain brain areas that have never been stimulated are being so now. And that's why you get these feelings, just like any girl who's growing them. You just happen to be older than most, but the process is the same. It's a psychophysiological phenomenon.
I don't know I'm aware of them all the time especially when guys think they are being sneaky when coping a look
Ms Grace,
That is so awesome... what an experience.. It feels good to feel like yourself doesn't it..!!! I am way behind you in transition but already just feel so comfy with my new body.... i don't like to try to hide it... and soon won't be able to... Its also amazing to feel so normal......thanks for sharing that experience...
Love Ya,
Carrie
Oh BTW Ms Grace you look just wonderful

This! My gorgeous laser tech is nicely stacked. And from her body language you can tell she's very conscious of them. She is rocking the cleavage and she knows it.
If you have em, use em! ;D
From the moment my boobs started to develop, I was getting more aware of them. These days there are reminders often that I have them. Going into the washroom and seeing myself in the mirror, either at work or at home, with them showing through the shirt, in the shower with the upper arms brushing up against them, crossing the arms, using the seat belt in the car, even. All are constant reminders. It escalates as they get bigger. But I love it!
Stephanie
This!! They are there for a reason... not just for breast feeding... :)

Hmm, mine aren't very sizeable but they're there and visible.. During my last lunch with new friend (who says she fancies me) she was oggling a few times lol. I jokingly called her out on it ;)
Anywayyy, Is it weird that I refuse to wear a bra? Even my non-push up ones make my boob look ginormous and somewhat fake when I put something on.
Its the look and feel of my current bras that puts me off, probably need to invest in some pricier better fitting ones (Using 36A/80A, €6 each). Dont slap me silly, just give me a brand/general advice if you have it :P

Knowing you you probably have a ha...err..eyes-on approach dont ya? ^^
^^ Oh no I'm furtive. She probably figured it out that I'm one of 'those' kinds of people, I'm very small and she's rubbing her all womanly-ness in. ;D
Right....I ended up visualizing that somehow
Eh....*gasps*.......yes, I can imagine ^^
I was working in the yard today and had to run to Home Depot for some things, I went in boy mode but I was wearing a tighter than usual tank top (braless) and short denim cutoffs, I noticed several people glancing at my obvious perky pokieness and trying to figure out what they are looking at ;) The cute checker girl said "uh, cute top?" and sorta smiled.
Honestly anymore , let em look ;)

How adorable, Michelle! I surely can visualize that scene and it would definitely be a great memory for me for the rest of my life!!
Those must be some gorgeous looking boobs... Good on you..
Aren't compliments wonderful, especially from a young cute checkout girl!!!
Ginger
My breasts have grown, but I still can't believe it or see the changes.
All my life I have had well defined muscular pecs from working out.
So it is hard for me to notice that I really do have boobs. When I feel them they still feel firm, which
confuses me. I thought breasts would be soft, and cushiony and pliable, well you get my idea.
But when I grab them which I do A LOT, they feel firm and that really confuses me. In my past when I have touched
women's boobs they feel 100% soft, no firm spots.
I guess I need to wait for the muscle tissue to turn into fat and for more fat redistribution???? :embarrassed:
Ginger
Ginger : Growing breasts are also much firmer than the final result, because the breast tissue is firm and solid [dense] as it develops, until it softens and spreads out in the later stages. Once the structures have gotten less dense and fat has been layered on and between the actual breast tissue, they will feel much more like the breasts you're familiar with, which presumably were on adult women.
If you could feel a teenage girl's breasts - NOT recommended! - you'd find that they felt a lot like yours, right now. It's also why teenage breasts are generally so perky and conical; they're not finished growing yet.
Hi Yin Yanga try wearing Simone Perlele for Bras and Lingerie. All my good fitting bras come from them and feel beautiful and silky soft.

Talk about surreal realizations, I was looking in the mirror the other day and while judging the changes, all of a sudden it hit me, "This Will Be The Last Summer I Will Ever Spend Running Around With No T- Shirt" I have no idea why the full impact of this had never hit me before. Dani
Dani, my last summer too. It's getting cold where I am so I felt safe doing HRT since I won't be going to the beach anymore this year.
Then today a friend called and wants me to fly with him and his daughter to a small hot springs in Montana. We had been talking about it for 2 years but it never happened. I said yes and then immediately panicked because I had "forgot" that I have big, tender nipples now and noticeable breasts. I also shaved my legs, chest, & stomach since I went to his wife's lake cabin with his family. Not sure what I'm going to do. Maybe hope the weather is bad so we can't go, or try to scurry in and out of the water from a distance.
--Sorry for the digression.
Ms Grace, it appears you are getting more comfortable in your new skin. It's obvious your coworkers are comfortable around you too. Wishing you many more surreal or "Ah Hah" moments! Some of my favorite moments are when I'm busy with something, then I notice a curvy shadow, breasts in the mirror, etc.

I've decided that I want to have breast implants. I want my mosquito bites to be A LOT bigger.
-Sorry for the digression.
Completely ok, I needed the smile I was imagining what a stealth move towards the water might look like. :)
Yep, no way I could go boy mode topless again, cute pokey boobs, bikini tan, smooth all over and long blonde California Girl hair....I have always been shy about boy mode topless with these obvious boobs Mother Nature gave me but I can't get get away with it anymore....and I love it :)
