I am a 46 year old FTM just starting transition, (pre-surgery) in October I get to start testosterone. I am so excited to finally start matching my outward appearance to how I have always been. I have been able to pass reliably as male for over a year until i either shave my natural mustache, or start talking. I plan on changing my name to James mid to late spring next year an am trying to save up enough money to have top surgery no later than fall of next year. I have 5 kids an by the oldest 3 were not really surprised by my coming out. I'm still not sure whether or not I'll be doing bottom surgery too. part of me says no. The most inner male in me says but I want to be complete. so I'm taking it one step at a time for now.

Susan's is a great place and like a big, slightly unruly, but loving family. I am a 44 ftm. I am just a bit ahead of you on some parts of this journey. I'm on T and I reeeeeeeeeeeeeally hope I can get top surgery next spring.
