Title: Time Management
Post by: iiMTF on August 28, 2014, 12:55:20 AM
I was just wondering... does anyone else here have terrible time management?

Staying updated here, staying up to date on school, etc. etc...

I keep forgetting to write diary entries because I don't have any time... I've lost time to play any video games... I haven't even had any time to write (for those who haven't heard me say it before, I love to write).

Then there's also trying to find a proper gender therapist... That has been tedious, since I keep pushing it to the back of my mind - like everything else. Although I think I may have found a good one.

And as if that plus a few other things I did not mention aren't enough, I've got 2 huge projects both due at the beginning of January 2015 for school, which are worth like 30% of my grade. Fun.

And then I don't even have the tight schedules I figure a lot of you have! I really need to get a whole lot of stuff done, but I don't have enough time!! I get home at 4 o'clock, so that only gives me 5 hours to handle everything I need to handle. And it really adds up quickly when you put things off a while like I do. :p

So, what are your girls (and possibly guys... if you're looking around in the MTF area... *ahem* Marcellow lol) schedules. How are you all handling time management?

In the words of my high school maths teacher
"If you want to get anything done, give it to someone who is busy". His reasoning is they are better organized and are able to cope with the extra demand to get things done quickly.

How do I keep on track. I keep a diary with everything in there (not just an app on my phone), from my work schedule, to therapy appointments, to laser sessions and even chances for me to go bowling. This allows me to constantly see what I am doing for weeks in advance.

I have been known to call and book appointments early in the morning 10mins after a place has opened so I can get in and choose the time and day I need. Or if they need to call me back they have the whole day to call me.

Speaking of appointments It is not uncommon that I would choose the earliest appointment time possible. This gives me the rest of the day to get more things done or go to schedule any other appointments, (my record 2 appointments, 1 hospital visit and work in the city of Sydney NSW using public transport).

With your two huge projects treat them like you are eating an elephant. Do it one bite at a time. You could find when things are very important to you time suddenly appears

On HRT I seem to be able to keep far more balls in the air than I used to. This is handy because I seem to have far more balls to juggle now. Things I need to remember come to me at the moment I need to remember them instead of falling off the table like they did before HRT.
