I'm quite red and blotchy for the first day.   The bumps and spots last for another 4-5 days or so....

Lots of concealer  ;)

I find where there are hairs the skin is quite red for several hours and the overall duration of the redness is proportionate to the laser strength too. Firing the laser at the skin where there isn't any hairs does not result in any redness whatsoever for me.

Laser leaves me red for no more than an hour. Electrolysis, OTHO, is a couple days.

Funny - electo leaves me much less visibly damaged than laser...

For me the redness lasted for about a day and it looked fairly red, as though I'd been sunburned.

My face gets slightly red during laser and lasts about 20-40 minutes after the session. When they turned up the setting last visit, I stayed red for a little over an hour. It really depends on the setting and the amount of hairs.

I don't really get red, but my skin does feel very sensitive and rough-ish for a day... I'm fine the next... But uhm.. I guess it also depends on what kind of laser you're using, I'm doing IPL... 6 Sessions in :)

had my very first full face laser session today... total of abt 4 minutes.. neck, under chin, jawline (THE worst spot) chin, lower and upper lip area...  4mins, $125...  now i fly jets for a living, and sorta do alright, but this... seriously, $125 for 4mins??   I am in the WRONG line of work!!  :)

as for actual reactions, almost none.  very very minimal swelling (ice pack for abt 20 mins) and no redness .  i used a shaver on the drive over there, so it would be fresh, shortest... BIG mistake...  alcohol swab on face to kill bacteria before laser... ow ow ow ow owwwwwwwww!  (ok, you can stop laffing now.. seriously, stop.. )

(i can still hear you..)

guess ill see how it turns out in a few days.  but really, no reactions cept fer some minimal swelling.  guess im lucky.

I have had my face cleared with laser 5 times now with pretty good results. I really never have any redness and within 30 minutes or so everything feels back to normal.

OTOH I have also has ~80 hours of electrolysis on my face in two hour sessions (lots of grays) and that gets to be quite painful after a while and leaves welts that can last half a day or so.

Just had my first face session an hour ago.  Holy ->-bleeped-<- snacks that hurt!  I'm a little red on my neck.  Looks a little like a rash kinda.  Nothing crazy though.

I payed for 14 months worth of sessions.  Full body and face. 6-8 sessions per area spaced out over the 14 months for $99 per month.  Amazing deal compared to what they charge per session per area.
