Title: Amnesia
Post by: iiMTF on August 31, 2014, 10:00:07 AM
Hey everyone, I just had another odd thought to add to my Collection of Odd Thoughts (COT).

Okay, so what if you know you're a transsexual and you go on Susan's everyday, then one day, bam, amnesia. You don't remember a single thing about your life. But you continue to get all the things on the List of Stuff Transsexuals Deal With (LSTDW). Then, when you still have amnesia, you figure out that you're transsexual again. You find Susan's once again, create a new account, and completely start from scratch.

How would you react if you saw this happen to someone / happen to you?

Do you know anyone who's had/has amnesia? Are any of those people trans?

Just my curious little mind.

I think so, but I can't really remember.

I seem to recall, Amnesia is usually short term and not total.

I know it's short term, of course the memory would usually come back within a few days/weeks.

However, in this little short time... This happens. About the total part, people can lose every memory they've ever had for a short period of time because of amnesia. Tho, in some situations, it's only partial.

Name, basic speech and other early learnings usually remain.

Well, yeah. What I meant by "memories" was people they knew, what they knew about them, past vacations, where they live, whats their job, etc. etc.
