So, my last few days have been kind of crazy, I've had the same job for the last 2 1/2 years working with kids with Autism, and unfortunately the longer you stay there the hard harder your evaluations get. And I reached my limit, couldn't pass a particularly stringent evaluation and was suspended while they decided whether or not to fire me. Faced with that possibility, I started to plan, and the more I planned the more decided I didn't want to go back. Instead, since I didn't feel confident enough to transition at work, but think I could handle doing it at school. So, I quit, and have decided to start working towards full time girl. I'm nervous about school this semester, since it'll be the first I've presented female for any extended time on my own out in public. But without my fear of transitioning at work, I can work on getting my drivers license changed and have decided to be more daring and get my ears pierced.
Overall, I'm excited and it feels like it's the right time, I just really hope I don't have to give any presentations in class. >_<
But here's hoping for a smooth semester. ;D

You're going to do just great hon, you already fit well in my estimation so the rest is going to be just the usual ups and downs you will go through just convincing yourself that I and everyone else are right. Like your avatar photo, it shows self confidence, keep it up!
Hey Ellesmira, congrats on planin to go full time! Full time at first can be overwhelming, like I went full time late last year and its been getting easier. It was a bit rough at first since I didn't have any confidence at all because I had a really bad shadow, laser helped a ton with that. Anyways wish you the best in your upcoming school semester!
Thanks everyone. I know it's something that will come easier in time, but I imagine the first few days are really going to have me on edge. But if I survive this, I know I will be able to do just about anything else.
