Yesterday, I found myself in a place that is becoming increasingly familiar as I move into month 9 of the real-life experience part of my transition: I was simultaneously creeped out and yet strangely elated.
While walking from the bus station to a place about a quarter mile away to meet a friend, I got followed around by this really insistent cab driver (one of those owner/operator deals) who kept offering me a free ride and insisting that I memorize his number.
Of course, I wasn't going to get into a no-name taxi with a guy who insisted driving slowly alongside me as I walked down the sidewalk. I was close to calling the cops at one point, and I was definitely on my guard.
But over all, the experience actually left me with a huge boost of confidence because this means that I was not just being read as a woman, but as a somewhat attractive woman.
And now I have to re-assess all these guys that turn and look at me when I walk down the street. I thought they were reading me at first but maybe they were checking me out after all.
Anyone else have something similar happen to them, where you met a creepy guy whose actions let them know in no uncertain terms that you were definitely shaping up to be a pretty woman and you actually came out of the experience thinking "wow, I am THERE!" on top of an understandable creeped-out feeling?
My girlfriend had a few experiences like this. Once the novelty wears off, you sink right into dismissing them for their behavior.
I'm not attractive so all I can do is sit here and stew in my jealousy.
I take a photo and tell them I'm sending it to the police.
While it's nice to know people find you attractive, I'd be extra careful of creepy individuals engaging in stalker behaviour... the next one might not be so "pleasant". So yeah, "yay for passing as a woman" but please be careful of your safety, especially in areas without a lot of people around. :)
There used to be a guy in a 4 x 4 who kerbcrawls round TS/TV girls in the North station area of Blackpool.Very creepy though I don't think anyone's been harmed or gone missing

I'm prepared for self-defense at all times.
They just want to have fun, girls!
Disregard my last sentence.
