First, I want to thank everyone for the outpouring of love and support after my latest melt down. I am really trying hard to deal with them a little whole lot better. I will remember your support forever! Thank you again!! :)
Now the greatest night yet!
My son and I went to buy groceries and other things for the house tonight. I was talking to the checker while she rang things up and jokingly mentioned my son would have it eaten in a day or two. What happened next put any fears of passing or how people see me to rest. She said," How big was he when you gave birth to him"? OMG! OMG! <MIND BLOWN>!! I said 7lbs, 8oz which is true. She then asked, "How long were you in labor"? OMG! I thought back and had to remember how long my ex was in labor and told her. She said I did a good job because he was very respectful and seems very intelligent. After everything was bagged and paid for no jackhammer could have chiseled the smile off my face. As we walked to the car my son said, "Jeez, you really are a woman aren't you". I said, "yes, I was and if you don't want me going hormonal on you clean your room tomorrow". He broke out in a huge grin and said, "Yea ma'am"! This was about 5 hours ago and I am still riding the high. It truly was the best night yet! ^-^ ^-^

Jessica, that is fantastic! You must be walking on air after that. (Oh, and... congratulations on having a really cool son!)
That makes me smile, too.

Now write this down and keep it in a place where you can easily find it (also mark it on a calender ) and next time you start to feel you are having a melt down bring that paper out and read it until you feel better :P
Ohhhhhh Good for YOU...!
You deserve every moment of that happiness, and more..!!

Well the way you make him sound, he shouldn't be embarrassed. That good of a guy and he will have the girls lined up around the block wanting to go out with him. Can you handle that though, Sis?

Somehow I figured your maternal instincts would kick in. ;) Just don't embarrass him too much OK?
Haha Jessica your so cute, I wouldn't worry about your son dating. He sounds like he has a great head on his shoulders, I'm sure he'll find a wonderful lady that passes his momma's muster! Very happy for you, keep the good times rolling! ;D;D

I just can't stop thinking of how the most stable person goes all gooey eyes when the girl and timing is right though. I see him collapsing like Jell-O and forgetting his name! I can hear it now. "Hey son make sure you have your common sense with you". "Uh Mom, all I have is a quarter, two nickels and a dime". ;D
Wow! You must be on cloud 9999.99 right now, lol!
It's kind of funny, I remember all our kids birth weights better than my wife. She asks me when people ask.
Jessica, you are now being seen and accept as a woman. You will be asked and included in all kind of women's talk about things that women experience in life and can recall immediately, like givng birth to your kids, first period, first date with a boy, first kiss, etc. Great you have gotten to this place in your life, only can get better.
