The story makes it out that the state and parents are forcing this on an 11 year old... if that is true then shame on the state and parents.... but I think he is wrong. This is what the child wants.

I pretty much stopped at ". . . victims to the liberal-sponsored depravity that's running rampant in America". Sounds like right-wing sensationalism, and not even up to Fox News' shabby standards. I call bullspit on this one.
Yup, opening by insinuating that America is on the brink of having certain opinions being illegal is a good way to get your op-ed ignored.
I find it kinda funny that the author used a story from 2011 in which the child was 11 at that time and never changed the age to what the child would be now.
To bad that facts can be changed and omitted on opinion pages. I can say that I would be mad if came across a story like that not knowing the truth about what it takes to transition or what what the child is going thru. Unfortunately these readers don't. I wish that stories like these should need to require facts not be changed or omitted.
This is either a joke site or something set up by delusional people. None of the stories listed on the "front page" are in any way real news. I would not take anything posted on this site seriously or factually.

Suzi I think it is real site it's just that it puts a strong conservative spin on all the stories. So some might consider the views delusional.
The trouble here is that most of those who posted comments on that story took the report as written as absolutely true. No one in their audience cared to do the slightest bit of fact checking.
I run into this repeatedly when I'm on right-wing websites. It seems that these so-called Christians WANT to believe the worst about other people. No matter how absurd the story, no matter how obvious the lies are to anyone with three interconnected brain cells, if it makes LGBT people look bad they will believe and spread it.
Pics of the Loch Ness monster eating a unicorn on page 2.
On the flip side there is this informative story of a young girl and her loving parents.

If the child is from California, there are too many holes in this piece to even hold it together. A major issue is that even three years ago, we had at least two of the best Juvenile Gender Clinics in the nation, where our other treating Gender Therapists referred their patients in need of medical treatment. In those centers, the child is re-screened for NEED of the medical intervention, and then, the child can opt out at any time regardless of what their parent or guardian wishes. The writer of this article no doubt wangles, wheedles and bullies her children into doing what she wishes, but if her wish was to force her child to take any type of hormonal medication, it would be found, and possibly the child taken from her. If there is any question in the prescribing doctors' mind about the child doing "parent pleasing" and taking these meds against their wills, -----!! I know a number of young people and their families in these medical programs, and have met the Pediatric Endocrinologists that administer the programs and the meds. The writer of this piece is a latent child abuser herself.
