Hi everybody,
I am curious about the age everyone started HRT, so...a poll!!
47 and so far with amazing results mentally AND physically! :)
I started HRT with 26yo, almost one year ago. It was a blessing and changed my life forever! =)
I started at age 29. My results have been below average at best.
38 wow seems as only yesterday, Not 8)
I haven't started yet, but I'm scheduled to a week after my 28th birthday.
I was 29. My expectations were extremely low, so I'm happy with my results. HRT was a miracle for me.
I turned 45 this month. Started spiro Aug 21 and estradiol yesterday.
43 years, 8 months, 19 days
Give or take.
38, just on E
45...
23... last week. I guess I'm a youngin' by the look of the poll. :o
First time age 23 for two years with pretty unspectacular results on the boob front. Became quite feminised otherwise though.
Second time age 47, that was 14 months ago with great results so far.
Started HRT unofficially at age 20, started officially (under doctor's care) at 23. Fast forward to today: age 60 (61 in a couple months), decades post-SRS and truly indistinguishable from other cis gals my age.
Carol
Started on tuesday the 5th of August 2014
At about 18 years and eight months
:P
Started HRT 12/25/2013 age 63 3 months before my 64th birthday. You all make me feel old, on the other hand I have had great results everywhere.
Started spironolactone and estradiol at 51 yrs 10 months 21 days which was 4 months 19 days ago! So far results have exceeded my modest expectations.
Started 6 months ago at 25 doing good so far everywhere but my face lol
Started just after my 27th birthday. 13 months on hormones now. Happy with my progress and outlook on the future.
38, started less than a year ago, I'm in heaven
I was on low dose HRT for a number of years; i probably started that somewhere around 44 but really didn't see a lot of physical effects from it. I started on a transitioning dose of HRT on 08/08/2013 when I was 50. The HRT has had major, wonderful effects on me in spite of my age.
I was 23 when I started :3 That would be January 15 of this year.
18, but was on blockers for a few years before my 18th
Haven't started on hormones yet, but have an appointment with the Endocrinologist on December 30th. My 29th birthday is in November. So, hopefully at 29.
I can't quite remember, but I think it was shortly after my 47th or 48th birthday
I started one day after I became 19...
9 months later its probably the best decision I ever made in my life
I started a few weeks before my 44th birthday.
I started when I was 28.. I am pretty happy with the results so far.. Aiming for ffs in like 18 months..
started a bit over ten years ago a little before my 41st birthday.
I took every birth control pill I could get from girl friends in college, received my first script for estrogen when I was maybe age 22. On & off all my life as much as I could without getting fired from male type jobs which I did get fired twice for dressing & being feminine. Full speed for the past year finally, yea!
Started blockers and E three days before I turned 22

I'm 60 (and 8 months), and just started a couple of weeks ago, so you're not totally alone. So far all my results have been always erect and tender nipples, not that I'm complaining.
I started when I was 33 and couldn't be happier. ;D
59 and thank goddess!
It has been wonderful
At 24, 45 days ago... So far so good, am really happy about it, though am afraid it's giving me too high expectatives from when the dosage goes up in 2 months and affects me for a couple years.
I started at age 35.
50 and 363 days.
This past Tuesday, at the age of 34. Loving how I feel so far!
I started about 4 months ago at age 31, certainly a marathon not a sprint but I'm very happy with how things are going, my only regret was waiting so long rather than starting as a teen
I Started officially at 15 :)
I started on my 30th birthday.
I have been on the magic pill for over 3 years, and now I sport a 38 C bra .... :)
I started in my 50's, so yeah, there is hope for us late bloomers !
46 years young!
Started officially at 44 years old, now 21 months and one week on hrt. Before that started at 26, on and off for a year, with good results.
Happy so far ;D
Started when I was 45.
Emotional and psychological effects have been subtle and most agreeable. Physical effects have exceeded my expectations.
Not a miracle cure, but a very nice helping hand :)
23.5, just over a month ago, waiting for physical effects to kick in, hoping I can pass before I go to film school in LA next year =P
Hi,
A little different for myself , my own hormones started changing about 21 years ago . in prep for becoming a woman so what little the added hormones have done is just what is normal for a menopausle woman for health reasons, so HRT = E. was about 10 years ago .
as for Spiro my body rejected them , so was not on them long ,
as some of us are different the synthic meds dont allways work for every one ,
...noeleena...
Started at 28, was hoping to get SRS before 30 but it looks like I'm probably going to be getting it before 31. I'll still be 30 when I get it though >_>.
I start HRT when I was 54. All I can say is why did I wait so long? :)
I attempted to start at 19. Multiple therapists, a dozen years, and one move to a different state later, I finally got my first prescription at 34, and actually effective HRT at 39 (earlier this year, after SRS.)
Sadly , I started at the late age of 45 and have been on HRT for 5 weeks. Wish i had started sooner. Just enjoying the ride now.
Sorry that I have had to wait 50 years to start.
I just started with "T" blockers 6 days ago.
Now trying to quit smoking for the "little blue pill"
Next Endo appointment is in Oct ' 14
Wish me luck !

62, coming up on 90 days and seeing good results. :icon_joy:
Yay! I started HRT at 62 also. So nice to see I'm not alone.
Six months in and things are moving along. I'm still impatient, but I guess you've heard that before.
