Title: New Person
Post by: Destiny Marie on September 16, 2014, 04:53:51 AM
Good morning
Mine chosen name is Davida, I am a 46 year old born male and now trying to understand why I feel so feminine and should have grown into a woman. This is the hardest thing that i have ever had to deal with, as now I am Married for 16 years with 4 children. My wife has had the usual response (as far as I can tell from other stories that i have heard and read), and I only have one child that knows and she has been awesome. I now have anxiety issues and always want to cry. I have been a "real man" confident, self assured, knew what I wanted and how to obtain it. Now I am so unsure of myself, sometimes I feel as though I have been lying to myself and all those around me, But I have looked back at my life and now I can see that I was hiding from everyone including myself as I now see crossdressing and desires from early in my life. I need to be able to talk to people who are dealing with their own lives and are being all they can be, so to speak.

Much Love,
Davida D.

Hey Davida

Welcome to Susan's :) Great to have you here - looking forward to seeing you around the forum.

It's common to have anxiety and uncertainty, especially at the stage you are currently at. I can only suggest it would be good to find a good therapist to talk to about your options, preferably one who works with gender identity. Other than that, join in the conversation around the forum and ask questions, etc.

Please check out the following links for general site info...

Cheers

Grace

Thanks for welcoming me and I will be around. My therapist is the reason that I am here now as she told me I needed to have some sort of support other than just seeing her, so that I could talk to people that have been through or are going through some of the same things that I am. So far I love everything that I have seen on the site, better than some of th other sights that I have found.

All of you are awesome, it feels great to be accepted as I am, as I rarely get that feeling lately. I wish that I could just hug all of you.
Again thank each and everyone of you.

HUGS FOR ALL!!!!
