Title: School and Transitioning...
Post by: ★ Sophia ★ on September 16, 2014, 10:18:44 AM
Hello everyone!

The coming years are very important, both in transitioning and in education. I really want to do well at school, I don't want things to get in the way of my education.
The school knows about the transition, do you have any advice on how to like, when to start being a girl in school?

I have few friends so, I hope no-one will notice. Also any advice on how to transition would be nice :)

xxxSophia

Sophia,  Starting out as the gender you want to be seen as full time is the best way to go if you are ready to go full time.  This way most if not all you meet there will consider you as the correct gender.

It may not be that easy.

Sophia, do you have a gender therapist? The answer to your question of when and how to transition in school is dependent on a lot of things that are specific to your situation. I know a lot about school's since I work in one, but I don't know anything about your specific school, community, local supports, etc.

I'm seeing him on the 25th. I could message you the school if you'd like.

I'm not allowed to send messages at moment, I believe this is because I haven't posted that much yet.
