My name is Jamie (or Jami) and I'm new here, hoping to maybe meet some new people. I'm pretty much 19 years old, I am from Northern Ireland and I have came out to my family and close friends.
I really wish I had started University while passing but unfortunately I'm still pre-everything and have no experience in passing yet :c I am on a waiting list for therapy but that's really all I've done about it so far, mum doesn't want me doing anything until I've finished with University (even though I haven't even started yet and it's a 4 year course)
My family are supportive but are somewhat hinting that they think I could be wrong about the whole thing and that they don't really want me to transition, but at the same time they just want me to be happy. :s
My friends are in the same boat, pretty much, except are fully supportive of transition.
I was thinking of coming out to my hallmates early and trying to pass for Uni but I'd feel like I was going behind my parents' back :s
oh the confusion!
Also I love movies, video games, ponies and cookies :3 I will try and learn to bake my own cookies while in Uni

You're in a hard place. I would have been so much happier at Uni as my true gender. Ultimately you are going to have to decide what is right for you. It sounds like you care about your parents and they care about you. You might want to keep talking to them about what you need. What are there reasons for wanting you to wait?

Honestly, if I could start right now I would, the only thing keeping me from doing it is that I would feel like I'd be making my family uncomfortable if I dived right into it, and I'm scared of people rejecting me.
Really it's just me being too scared and not doing anything about it in fear of rejection and making the people around me uncomfortable, I just want to be myself but at the same time I really don't want to hurt anyone
