Title: weight
Post by: RuthFrances on September 22, 2014, 07:00:28 PM
I have lost 45 lbs since June and am on track to lose another 40 or so by February when I will be starting HRT. I don't want to be a fat chick and at times wonder if I would even bother with the cost and all of fully transitioning if I can't lose the weight I want to. But then I stop and think that's kind of wrong , so what if I'm a bit of a chunky girl. Anyone else have this issue?

Congrats on the weight loss and I'm definitely in the same issue, although I'm looking at losing a lot more than you.  I'm currently at 336 at 6 ft and it's mostly around the midsection.  I'm hoping to get to 185 but that's realistically going to be a year plus out.  The last time I weighed 185 I was in high school and it was over 20 years ago. :( It's going to take some work, but I'm committed.  I'm never going to be thin be it male or female, but I do intend to be much healthier than I am now. It's not necessarily about being chunky but I'd like to get off as much of the male pattern weight as I can before I start and hopefully keep it off until I can put some female weight pattern on.
