Like many trans ladies, I have that lovely privilege fortune curse of having to wear fake hair. Thanks, genetics! I do the trick of hooking the cap strap to itself to hold the back of it to your head. That helps. And I use bobby pins, too. One by each temple, two in the back. That helps keep it on when I'm skating and stuff. I can slam pretty damn hard without the embarrassment of my wig coming off. (When I slammed my head from six feet up, my first thought was how glad I was that my wig was still on.)
Once my wrist gets better (I broke it back in May), I want to get back into gymnastics, which I had been doing before I started transitioning. A couple nights ago, I was playing around with forward rolls. I found with those, my wig didn't stay on as securely as I wanted. This can only be worse with flips and diving rolls.
Does anybody have any tips? How can I keep my wig on securely enough that I can flip and dive and roll? Nothing that involves a wig cap, please. Those things are so painful, that I want to punch them in the dick.
I was initiated into the Chrome Dome Club at 14. I WISH I could use bobby pins! lol Wig Tape at the crown works for me. A few times I also tape in the back.
