Title: What's better to go??
Post by: Larisa on September 28, 2014, 04:41:57 PM
Ive been looking at tria laser hair removers on amazon that cost like 450$ or so. They are alot cheaper in comparing to going to some professional that will cost thousands. I just dont know which is better. I dont know what's safer also. I want to work on getting rid of my facial hair next along with chest hair removal. Any ideas?

If you want to do anything involving a laser on your face I'd suggest going professional. You want someone with experience who knows what they're doing.

Tria i only for body I believe. If you want facial laser you need a pro.

I just payed for 12 full face treatments up front.  Often you can get much better deals this way. Had one treatment so far and so far so good.

By the way, you really should be careful, even if seeing a professional because laser can have side effects, if not done correctly, that are potentially permanent and undesirable.  I recommend doing research and asking questions.

I talked to my mom about it and she says if Im gonna do it to go to a pro about it. That it's very dangerous doing it myself and I could severely burn myself. I just dont know what all goes into the laser stuff and who to talk to get any idea on where to have it done and what goes into it. Any ideas? How much does it normally cost?

It varies widely, look online for coupons.  Make sure you read up on the risks and how to prepare and stuff.

I agree completely. And besides if a laser for home can be sold in a shop which is the same strength as a professional laser, then wouldn't we all have X-Ray machines at home too  ;D go professional for the face!

I've just started IPL, three sessions so far and seeing some results. I did expect hair to just fall off but wasn't the case. I'm told a minimum of 6-12 sessions for facial hair. I'll give it a couple more to see what the results are like before switching to electrolysis, trying to get rid of most of it before I switch

Laser and electrolysis are best left to the experts, just like tattooing and dentistry don't do this at home!
