I had an ffs consultation and one of the recommended procedures for me is blepharoplasty (upper and lower). That will leave scars of course. The surgeon said that they will become invisible or almost invisible with time, but I didn't ask after how long. I'm guessing it will take at least two years before they are somewhat faded?
These scars also mean having to avoid sun for 6 or maybe even 12 months I think. I am used to going to solarium twice a month because I'm very pale if I don't, but I suppose that will be out of the question for at least a year.
Did anyone here have blepharoplasty? What are the scars like? Was it worth it?

I had an upper blepharoplasty done several years ago because I had hound dog eyes and was almost running over people in the crosswalks. The surgeon used a laser knife and limited his cut to the normal fold of the eyelid so that any scarring was undetectable. I was amazed at how it opened up my peripheral vision and made me look more youthful. Most importantly if you have any pollen allergies, keep your hands out of those eyes when they itch. I've probably undone a good part of the benefits from digging at my itchy eyes with my knuckles. Don't be afraid, you'll appreciate the end results and whatever stitching is done is dissolving micro stitches.
