Title: Sports Bra and Breasts
Post by: Annabelle on October 13, 2014, 12:57:43 AM
Hi hi!

So I have been looking on the internet about sports bras and the affects on breast growth but I haven't found any solid information. Just wondering, do you girls know if wearing a sports bra will affect breast growth?

It hasn't effected me in any way. For the 1st 5 years that's all I wore for my ta ta's were and are still growing just don't buy something too small. Your not trying to bind them but to support them. I personally like the champion ones from target I run and they seem to offer good support.

I had a ligament problem in my breast caused by not using a quality sports bra for tennis. My advice is that a good, well-fitted one is well worth the investment! I am only a C cup so it must even more important for the bigger girls.

Girls once you start feeling them move when you run or up and down stairs, it is time for a bra.  Sport bras is a great to go give you support and comfort and not show as much as a regular bra.  You will feel them hurting and starting to sag besides the bouncing around all the time without the support of a bra.

Nope. Binding tightly will, but sports bras are designed for breasts - they won't do anything but provide support.

I wear sports Bras regularly, and It hasn't stopped me from getting a C-cup. There are  also two types of sports bras ones that have shaped cups and ones that don't, the ones that don't tend to squish your breasts a bit while so long as you have the right cup size the ones with cups don't. I wear both types.

The ones without cups still have a band size, while a 38 fruit of the loom sports bra (the ones that come in big packs) haven't done anything bad, I would imagine going undersized would basically be like binding. So just be sure of the size of the bras.

I wear sports bras for binding purposes. Well, I did. Now that the weather's cooler, I can wear heavier clothing and jackets to hide my breasts.

Thanks for all the replies girls :D But yes it has become uncomfortable not wearing a sports bra or having some support because of the bounce even though I am still very small.. Genetics why are you like this :( haha.

Glad I stopped off here. I was wanting to hide the girls a bit when they start growing without restricting them in a bad way. I just want to be able to turn off my girl at work until I'm able to go full girl and I'm to thin to pretend they are something else  :-\

Oh I have that same problem Releca. My body used to be quite athletic/toned with a relatively slim frame but now a lot of those muscles have softened compared to before. Even so it's still very hard to pass it off as anything besides boobs on my body haha. I got a sports bra today and wow.. they're more comfy than they look and they do stop the bouncing :D

My workplace has relatively non-formal dress requirements.  This summer I needed new shirts and I found a couple of light-weight collared tees with two chest pockets.  The pockets line up nicely over my breasts and disguise them surprisingly well without much effort or tight bras.  I'm at somewhere around 34B and I'm not getting any questions yet.

If it affected breast growth Cis-women wouldn't wear them either!
