Hey all. Im not real keen on the idea of it, but I think brow bossing reduction/ forehead contouring would do wonders for me. I'm pretty happy with everything else, so I'm curious what the price of that alone is. All the other prices I've seen have been for multiple procedures. Also i suppose its best to wait until hrt has changed all ot can, is that right or can I do it whenever??
Well the thing about brow bossing is HRT won't change anything. It might detract from it with wider cheeks, etc, but your bones won't change. So that is something you can do at any time.
On average, abouts $8,000 - $12,000 depending entirely on your surgeon of choice.
The vast majority of plastic surgeons utilize(share, rent, and/or own) a private OR and therefor have flexibility in facility cost.
Almost all of them offer the option of having your surgery in an actual hospital, at cost.
Keep in mind that reconstruction and/or set back of the frontal sinus usually cost a bit more than burring. In my experience, I've seen a sliding cost from technique agnostic surgeons such as Dr. Eppley in Indianapolis, IN and Dr.Cardenas in Guadalajara when quoted for Type I, II or III foreheads.
My lowest quotes were from Dr.Nguyen in Lake Oswego, OR; Dr.Mayer in Beverly Hills, CA and highest from Dr.O(retired), and Dr. Spiegel.
Dr.Zukowski (as of last year, anywho):
$6,000 surgeon's fee
$3,500 Facility + Anesthesia fee
--
$9,500 total
I settled on Dr.Z primarily due to being (somewhat) irrationally afraid of having my frontal sinus removed and smushed, in spite of lots n lots of absolutely amazing results from such a technique. Personally, he does neat things with a burr that are aesthetically pleasing and has a smaller scar.
So, blrrrrooop OBJECTIVITY! :icon_headache:
In summary, Dr.Z = goldilocks.
