I visited 2 FFS doctors within the past year. One of them does all the procedures I'm looking for:
Rhinoplasty
Tracheal shave
Brow bossing reduction & brow lift
Supraorbital ridge reduction (around the top of eyes)
Osseous gonial angle reduction (rear of jaw)
Some of these look pretty heavy duty to me. But, the cost is right for me to do them all at once. The doctor didn't seem to have any issues with it. Actually, all the surgeries can be done in the doctor's office except the jaw reduction, which has to be done in a hospital under a different type of anesthesia. I'm looking to get these scheduled soon for a surgery date early next year.
I'm looking to see which of you ladies has accomplished something like this before. And, what recovery time can I expect? Thanks!
A lot of people do everything at once. If I had the cash at the time I think I would have done my lower jaw work along with the rest of my face. I just didn't have the cash for it at the time. I did do forehead work, rhinoplasty and trachea shave in 1 go. It wasn't very painful afterwards to be honest but I think I have a very tolerance for pain. My face did look horrible immediately afterwards, but it changed little by little a day at a time. About 3 weeks later and a lot of swelling and bruising was gone.
That's good to hear. I know there are a few people who do a bunch at once. As my time is approaching, I'm trying to figure out more and more aspects of FFS and get more experiences from those who have done it. Thanks for the feedback!
Any other views or experiences? :icon_confused2:
Hi,
I did all of that plus forehead recontouring (distinct from brow bossing), eyelids - top and bottom, cheek implants, septology (in addition to rhinoplasty),full face lift, chin shaping (can't remember medical term) and he worked on my ears. I had over 140 stitches in my mouth where he was accessing things.
It was two doctors and 17 hours under. The first two weeks were drugs for pain and only liquids for food (he cut a section out of each side of my jaw and I couldn't open my mouth very far). At one month, I was off pain meds, messaging my face X3/day, stretching my jaw muscles and eating some thin foods. At two-5 months, food thicker and thicker but the rest was the same. At six months, I still message each day, the feeling is partially or completely back everywhere. I look good and will post some update pics next week.
One of the best things I have ever done. It was hard, it was painful, but is was so worth it...
Hugs,
Jen
I had a full meal deal in June this year and in the end I think it depends on a few things. The more you have done at once there is cost advantages especially in the shared costs. The surgeon can do everthing in context as a whole package change and adjust each part as needed being a little or a lot.
I think in this way the recovery is front end loaded in the process and just sucks bigtime however I will be done and not have to drag this part out over years which gives me shivers thinking about it. Some people heal quick others done not but the more you do the bigger the trauma and the longer and less enjoyable the recovery.
It has been challenging for sure however I agree with Jen that is was an extremely positive decision to do it in one shot!
Best and good luck with your decision :)
If you are trusting the doctor to perform the surgeries in the first place I would trust there judgement. On the other hand it is good to ask them questions to make sure you are comfortable with this.
Wow, you ladies have given me excellent information! It's feedback like this that puts my mind at ease a little more. I know all individuals are different, but it is good to hear what others have been through. :)
I am a firm believer that no girl needs FULL FFS. It'll will make you look even clockier. Just choose the most prominent features that are male or youre uncomfortable with. If you get the whole shabam (nose, lip lift, forhead, hairline, jaw, chin, cheeks, etc) it's just obvious.

That pretty much depends on chosen surgeon, his skills and his philosophy ... your belief might be completely true in some cases, and completely wrong in the case of surgeons who strictly aim for natural results and facial balance, instead of just making every feature as beautiful and feminine as it can be.
You have a LOT of cases, where person decided to fix just the most prominent feature, like adams apple and forehead for example, and suddenly their noses, chins and jaws became very masculine features in regards of whole facial balance. So this is why it is immensly important to chose the right surgeon for the changes that you need and expectations that you have.

Well, I definately need my forehead, nose, and trachea done. My boxy jaw is not as crucial, but it would bother me not to have it taken care of when I have the chance.

Ehh its obvious to us. To the general public its not so obvious. Overdone lips and cheeks are a give away, but a well sculpted neck, chin, nose, and forehead and moderate cheeks/lips will only make you stand out as feminine/beautiful.
