A pleasant evening in the process of becoming me. I so love these rare moments of bliss.

Transforming oneself can be a pleasure, but...
For me at least the process of transformation always has a dose of reality. I can't quite overcome the need to cast a critical eye at the results and generally, more times than naught, I am unsatisfied with the result.
"Mirror, mirror on the wall whose the fairest of them all?
"Not you, missy, you can be sure of that."
Sheesh...
Hi Katy! Just a little while ago I was watching a wonderful female stand up comedienne on Netflix who said that women's worst critics are themselves and I believe that. I take 25 pics before I find one that I feel I can share to the world...and I still cringe because I know that my inner self isn't being reflected with what's seen on the surface.
And speaking of pics, very nice to see more of you in your new avatar!
Well, my time with the vanity is pure heaven and bliss. Being 49 in a week I know I will never see an 18 year old hottie. You know what Doesn't matter because I am genuinely happy now. :)

(applauds!) Yes, girl! So happy for you and my day is coming!
Dani and all, please accept my apology for writing such a negative comment to your cheerful post. Events conspired to put me in a rather disappointed mood last night. A new turtleneck sweater arrived yesterday. I really thought it was going to be marvelous. The warm, beige color of the material was just what I was looking for. I thought the turtleneck might hide my rather ugly neck. So it proved. For once the sleeves were more than ample in length, a real problem for me with most clothes since I have long arms. The length of the sweater almost to mid-thigh made it look decidedly feminine especially paired with my leggings. All boded well until I decided to take some photos. What a disappointment! I don't own another garment that quite so effectively made me exceedingly fat. If my attempt at feminization was to make me look very pregnant, I succeeded beyond bounds. But, of course, that wasn't my goal. Oh well, back to the drawing board.
Absolutely no worries, Katy! Sorry for not responding sooner; I am just now feeling a little better today after a 5 day bout with the flu.. :(
A couple months ago I ordered a pair of fem pants in a color I love - pink of course. When they arrived I was so excited...until I put them on and realized they made me look like a pink Stan Laurel of Laurel and Hardy fame. Ugh! They sure looked a lot better on the model in the pic online. Those were from Wal-Mart.
Have you ever been to HerRoom.com? That's the first place online where I have ordered clothing from that arrives fitting almost perfect every time. And they have very easy to understand sizing charts you can pop open on every page.
