So...
I've been binding for about three weeks now (with an actual Underworks binder, that is), and lately, I've experienced really bad back pain. Back pain isn't anything new for me, but it went away for a while, and now it's back, and I've heard that binding can be a cause of that. I've also been "dry coughing" quite a bit to where I can taste *blood* in the back of my throat, but nothing ever comes up. Is this a cause of binding as well?
I'm new to this and not sure what to attribute to binding, and what might be something else. Should I stop binding for a while? Is there another way to lessen the back pain and coughing? Thanks, if you can help.

I'll admit that I have fallen asleep with it on (and left it the entire night) a few times (three times, tops.) Could that be why?

A looser binder for a few weeks can do wonders. If those nights were somewhat close together, it would definitely explain things.
I'll order another binder in a size up to try it out then. Thanks! I guess I got excited about it that I always want to wear it now. But trust me, I won't be sleeping with it anymore.

Smart choice. When you take it off at night, do some deep breathing and cough to clear your lungs. It will help keep your lungs clear. That can be a part of the back pain.
